Does not let user set language to English even though that is a menu option.

Always wanted to enjoy these…
TL;DR: Hopefully the ones ‘missing’ are being reworked into FULL ENGLISH, cuz the ‘new’ ones are well worth ur time. No frustration mid-way thru. No tryin to memorize. Gameplay overall much better quality n logical…Hints in written English n ad gives visual answers too. SEVEN in-game cam slots, n once done can ‘take’ a new photo over. No notes or memorizing. This one was mostly easy, but fun and I like the uniqueness of each one having a different cat fact, this one relating to symbolism to China.

Thx!!! I’ve tried them ALL multiple times over years. Some I made it thru w/some issues, some I had to sadly give up on. These are well worth the effort you’re putting into them. Improved immensely n still love the cat facts! This one’s end was rather interesting as part of last code would seem ‘sad’ in English, so the explanation was of GREAT HELP!!

Now I can finally do these! Being a huge escape game enthusiast, as well as love cats, I’ve attempted this series a lot over many years. A few yrs ago, a couple did come along that had just enough logic, despite language barrier to complete. Different games (I think there was at least 12 in original detective), then a few non detective series, like the carp/ship one, then came the ‘encores’. Some I played are not available now, but I think they posed the biggest language/frustration. Hopefully they rework those too. This one was a new one altogether tho.
If you like short, done in one sitting escapes, these have gotten MUCH more fun, as they’re being revamped to remove the former language barrier. They used to give unique facts about a type of cat (in English) at end, this one however, was something unique to China.
