Nice but missing critical feature + some included designs poorly digitized
If you are new to machine embroidery (very likely as this is definitely a beginner machine) there is definitely a trial + error period while you learn the best combo of thread/stabilizer/fabric/tension - you are going to need to start and stop projects and end them before they complete often. While you can always stop projects on the machine itself, there is no way to end/stop quit a design in the app - just a “lost connection” error if you had to turn the power off the machine because you made a rats nest underneath because you forgot to raise the presser foot between thread changes which many new-to-embroidery users will have happen to them. The only way to exit that design screen is to exit + close the app. It wouldn’t be hard to make a “Stop Project” button or let you click the back button with a pop-up window that says “This will exit your design in progress” with a confirmation checkbox. Some of the included designs are poorly digitized - embroidery should be soft and flexible but many of them have underlay when it shouldnt have it or have densely spaced stitches too small and too close together over multiple layers which causes the machine to just stitch in the same place over and over if your fabric/stabilizer/tension combo isn’t perfect - again, you can’t end the project from the app. If you buy embroidery designs or download free ones to import, there will definitely be times the ones you buy + add to the machine are poorly digitized as well, so being able to quit a project in the app is a pretty important feature. That being said, once you get past the learning curve of the machine, it does perform well + the app design in very intuitive to use, easy to connect to.
