Great experience in the beginning but endgame still questionable
First time experience in this game a month after the release is quite a blast, the visuals, the voice acting, the animations and waifus are all S tier and as a gacha gamer I had my fair share of summons at the start thanks to the many rewards thrown at you from missions and the mailbox. The content from PVE and PVP aren’t bad from what I’ve seen so far but something tells me further into mid game you gonna need to start learning your formations and characters roles and strategize the best way possible so you don’t get demolished immediately and I’m kinda tasting a little of that challenge in PvP like Arena with only a week in of game experience so yeah it gets pretty tough quick. The reason I say endgame is questionable is because your not really gonna be doing much in this game after completing the battlefront and story(I haven’t finished) besides playing around with your town, love stories for your characters and weekly challenges that reset and I can tell that could get old very gradually thus the problem with all gacha so it’s best to take your time in this game while you can no need to rush it since meta isn’t that heavy as of yet but that might change in the future.

The truth
Its fun a bit convoluted to the point with some town building, exploring and waifu simulator situations it’s fairly generous with the gacha so far but it would be nice to have a guaranteed F2P method to obtain pull tickets and gems. The link system is similar to Guardian Tales’s Training room function saving you some resources as a result. If u are new don’t fret you get quite a few epic rarity heroes to progress with and Rose is amazing as a rare upgrade her if u get her! Save your pulls and gems you want to wait until at least chapter two before you pull. Also to progress in the story you need to do the battlemode or world exploration mode essentially first. Building up your town and assign jobs to your souls to get resources in bulk it takes practice but hey it is new we are all learning together so feel free to ask players for help. The combat system is similar to standard afk but you can forcefully take command if u like to a degree at least. Just remember to have fun. Also currently angel and demon are absurdly rare heroes so if you get one on your 2nd 10 pull consider it a win

Great Game, but one big problem for me
I think this is a great idle game, I’ve just been frustrated with the connecting issue. I’ve had moments where I beat something, but then it’ll say “connecting…” and I can’t do anything. I would be fine when I close and open the app, but the game would treat it like I have not played or beaten whatever event or battle I was doing. This was fine… until I would literally beat some really hard content only to see the dreaded connecting on my screen. I’m starting to lose my joy with this game solely from the amount of times this has happened. And the answers I got when asking for help from support was not helpful at all. Maybe I’m the only one or the few having this problem, but if not I wanted to emphasize this, because I should not have to reset my game as often as I do

Refreshing!!
So far, after 30 minutes of playing and figuring the game out, I really like it! The gameplay is smooth, the cut scenes are very life-like and immersive and the style is unique! Great for people just starting to get into RPG’s or long-term players that want a casual game with a bit of thrill mixed into their game play. The game is generous with the characters you’re given to play with and it’s super easy to learn how to play. My only complaint is not having other genders to use or customization to play around with. Maybe this is offered later on in the game but upon first look, I could only play as the set male mc and I’d like to be able to diversify and customize my character to let me feel a bit more involved in the game. But, other than that, I really like it so far and high hopes for what the dev’s have in-store for us :)

Literally unplayable unless on wi-fi
This game is actually well made, and it generous towards f2p players. But unfortunately it’s gamebreaking server/optimization issues since it’s launched that have never been addressed or fixed. Basically if you play on your phone using cel data and not wifi, every time you make an action in-game, there will be a “connecting” font that shows up on the top-right corner of the screen for anywhere from 30 seconds to 5 minutes. It happens consistently to anyone who doesn’t play on wi-fi. It’s unfortunate because otherwise this game would be great, but you literally cannot play the game with your cell phone(unless on wifi), which defeats the entire purpose of a mobile game. Hopefully the developers eventually address this, or I can’t see the game succeeding. By the way, I should note that I play several other gacha games, many of which are more demanding than Eversoul, and none of them have this issue(so my connection is not the problem). Developers, please fix your server issues!

Many loading screens
This idle game is interesting. I’m still playing. But the loading screens are too much. You lose a lot of your time to them. So far two patches to the game were over 2gb in size. Holy crap.
Also apparently there is a “true “ ending to the “love stories “ that rewards a new character look, but it’s impossible to do without a guide. One last complaint is the level sync unlock happens very slowly (to add new characters to it). What I do like so far is the town is neat. You have a decent rate of summons (at least with friendship summons and a daily free summon). The merc system is mostly good (except in the labyrinth mode you can only use once and not for the duration of it). Overall it has a good UI. Characters are easily distinguishable. I wish when you selected an item (from anywhere) that it would show the quantity. And finally it would be nice if there was a permanent sub purchase. All other purchases are too ephemeral for me.

Honest Day 1 Review
The game itself is great, character designs are amazing! Various different features, functions and gameplay mechanics make this one I think I’ll play for a bit especially because it’s an ideal game. Pull rates are decent especially considering you need to pull duplicates to capitalize on a characters kit/ functionality. Unfortunately I don’t agree with the monetary practices and fear that’ll be the downfall of this game. Locking a 24h idle loot bank behind a monthly subscription seems a bit of a reach and sorta defeats the point of it being an idle game. Maybe instead offering more idle loot skips, subscriber pulls, or possible 2frame rewards (2h/6h daily or bi-daily tokens for various materials). Idk but that specifically is a major reason as to why I rated the game where it is. We’ll see where the game goes in a few weeks/ months from now, hopefully I have plenty of reasons to rank it at a 4 or even better 5 star ranking.

Exceeded expectations
At first when I pre ordered I was expecting it to be like other idles. Graphics in preview was stunning. I have dropped every other idle game I had on my phone to play just this one. To those that are complaining about there being a lot to do, what are you even on about? I don’t get players, they want more than just playing stages, arenas, and other dungeons but the second they get more they complain. The game is amazing. A lot to do to keep you busy. So far gacha has been great. I bought a pack or two to support the game but you don’t have to drop money into the game to enjoy it. People need to stop being so picky and enjoy what these devs have worked hard on. If you’re on the fence about trying it, you won’t regret it.

Amazing game aside from random crashing
Eversoul has incredible graphics and animation. It feels very much like playing through a high-quality anime. It would be nice to have an option for English VAs, but that’s a very small complaint. All of the standard idle game systems are present, so veterans of the genre will know what to expect. Everything seems polished and well executed. The music is reasonably enjoyable as well.
My only complaint is the crashing. I have pushed the game to its lowest settings and still occasionally experience the game closing itself in the middle of play. Usually happens in cutscenes during a scene transition. I’m playing on an iPad 7th gen with 256gb, so it could be my device.
Otherwise a flawless experience thus far.

Guild System Needs Rework
Enjoy Eversoul a lot. Been playing since launch. Have not spent money (Though I have considered supporting the devs in this way) I prefer to play ALL games w/o spending and just play what content is available. It is a fun base game, no money needed.
That being said; the guild system is lacking features to keep guilds alive and flowing, imo. I have created, and raised 3 guilds to lvl 4. Waste of 1000 everstones. All of them lost active players, and I am left trying to recruit via my friends. Still no invite?? I don't use discord or any other communication platform. How can I let a player know I would like them in my guild?
Searching for guilds* Seems as though the same guilds pop up everytime after every refresh. (I've refreshed more times than I can count. So I'm left searching through friends, or other players, to possibly find an active one? Sigh...
Guild Chat* The notification, if it ever existed, does not function properly. No red dot appearing.
Why and how are the same Guilds getting soo much attention, when others are failing because no one can see that particular guild??? Players quit, I understand. However, I see many new players/accounts starting fresh and leveling up. They need to be able to find a random guild that suits them, imo.
