TLDR; make sure your phone is updated and that you have enough space on your phone. Also the employees are doing their best as I am sure they deal with these issues a lot. Started the exam process at 230pm. I had predownloaded the app to make sure it worked, but when the onboarding agent had me turn on the room scan, my camera froze and they had to disconnect me. The agent told me it was because I hadn’t updated my iPhone all the way and to borrow someone else’s phone. However, you need to use the phone’s camera during the whole exam. Since this was so last minute, I couldn’t find anyone who was free for 2 hours to wait for their phone. In the end, I believe it was due to the space on my phone. I had about 10GB left of space on my phone when I tried to take the exam. I deleted 10 more GB to download the update. Unfortunately, I ran out of time for the download (you get 1 hr past your test time to start the exam) and decided to just try again with the space I made. The app started to work and I was able to take my exam. I gave 2 stars because the employees I called frantically to figure out what was happening were nice, patient, and fairly accommodating to the circumstances.
