This was a good game, but I would not have wanted to pay the full price for it. It did have a lot of the bells and whistles we like, but it wasn't very long and there was no bonus adventure.
You could customize your settings. There was a diary with tasks regularly updated. The graphics consisted of beautiful Parisian scenery. There were tarot card collectibles, and illusory ones as well. I didn't waste time on those. You have a helper named Arthur, who is a little boy. Inventory was labeled and there were complex items to assemble. There was a marked teleport map and loading was instantaneous between locations. The HO scenes had variation and I thought most of the puzzles were fun. I liked inventory usage, because you didn't have to drag items; you could just tap on the tool and then tap where you wanted to use it.
I deducted a star for length and also because the graphics, although pretty, were not as sharp and crisp as they could have been. In addition you could tell that English was not the primary language of the developer. The grammar, vocabulary and syntax were way off, and it was slightly humorous!
However this was a good little time waster and enjoyable to play. Artifex Mundi, can you please give us a nice long game with a bonus adventure? Because if you do, we will buy!
Lynxie sends ❤💋😘 to her amazing DTE, especially KimTwilight and Izzyoc for informing us of this cute little gem of a game!
