Great game
I only started playing about a week ago and so far So good! I don’t have any complaints at all. I hope the game stays this way and the match 3 doesn’t get any harder. You definitely have to think on the match 3 games but it’s not so hard that you have to play a million times to get through it, like a lot of the other match 3 games are! So hopefully it stays this way and I will continue to play! Oh, also, when you want to fix up a room, you get your 3 choices of whatever furniture or decor you want to use in the room, plus they give you an extra choice of something if you watch an ad... and the choice you get if you watch the ad isn’t necessarily nicer than the 3 you already have to chose from, in my opinion anyway. I actually only watched one ad, because I didn’t care for the other option all the other times.. so that’s also a plus.

Still needs improvement
Although you have done and tried to do a lot to this game since it’s conception, the levels are still to hard to pass even with boosters. Also, I don’t enjoy getting hit right off the bat with various money packages to help my game. It’s just so ridiculous considering some upper levels are hard to pass even with boosters. I had deleted this game so many times but was always backed up by Facebook. This time around, I had to start the game all over again. There was no showing of my play history which was quite up there. It needs bug fixes and easier levels to pass so that it can be enjoyable. The storyline and graphics are fine. Also, like so many other match 3 games there are too many things or contests going on at one time. Now you have to watch ads just to get your daily bonus? Too many ads to get your prizes. Need to move the storyline along. Starting to get boring with the same storyline. Open up more areas to decorate in the hotel instead of constantly dealing with the same characters but with different stories to tell. I would like to see as I am sure others would like to see the hotel being decorated room by room.

Great game too many ads!
Love the story and the game! The designs look good and I like the characters and am interested to see where it goes. What’s keeping me from rating 5 stars are the amount of ads! I understand free games using ads for boosters and such but this games goes too far. Free key, watch an ad ok I can live with that. Extra booster before a level… ad ok I can live with that too. Even the option to watch an ad after a level for boosted coins I am okay with. However sometimes it throws you into an ad just because after a level. And the events… I’ve never had to watch an ad to claim every single reward on the free tier… it’s pretty ridiculous! Plus the design options forcing you to watch anywhere from 1-3 ads for a single piece of furniture!! It’s just wayyy to much. I feel like every twenty minutes I spend playing the game I’m stuck watching 5-8 minutes of ads…. I won’t even claim all the rewards I can get because every single one forces you to watch an ad… this needs toned down and then I would rate the game higher…

Only one issue
I actually find I really love this game so far. The graphics are lovely, the story is interesting, and the gameplay is fun. There are plenty of opportunities for free boosters and lives for watching an ad. Many will complain that the levels are designed to make you need to buy boosters but every game is going to be like that. Of course they want to make money. I’m willing to pay the occasional dollar or two.
I am having one issue though. If I click on the menu for the characters and wardrobe, the resolution of that menu is way off. It stretches beyond my iPad screen to where I cannot see all the options. Since the X option is off my screen at this point I have to force quit the app to go back to the game. I hope this bug can be fixed on the next update because I would love to check out those features.

First Impression - Ad
So, here is the breakdown of the ad I saw vs what I see the game is ACTUALLY about.
A black male, (think black like Wesley Snipes) got some white child on his lap with a belt looking super mad about to beat her. The mom rushes in and snatched her daughter off his lap. They hide under a table, and dude busts in the room and the mom and daughter try to get from under the table but she bumps her head. Dude grabs her by the arm raising the belt.
Ngl I thought this was a Chris Brown Simulator or something. Come to find out, just like most of the ads, it’s false advertising. Another boring game of trying to renovate a place. This game has me like BOOOOO 🍅🍅🍅 because I was down to play this racially motivated game not because I’m racist but because I never seen a game like that before. Oh well though I will be uninstalling. 3 stars because the ad was wild. Not 5 because false advertising.

Not Worth Playing
This gameplay is horrible. Even though the graphics are beautiful & the storyline is good. To deal with how long I have to wait for lives, how often I have to replay a level, seeing how expensive to ‘keep playing’/get items, constantly seeing their ads to buy their stuff, & how the tiles do not turn into bombs after drops is annoying. It takes 30 minutes to get lives, cost 1k for items, 900 coins to ‘keep playing’, & continuously seeing their ads to buy their stuff to make the level ‘easier’ after I lose a certain amount of times is a mood killer. I feel the game developers purposely set up some of these levels to make you lose constantly because they REALLY want you to buy their stuff. Not to mention there isn’t enough events to help you pass these levels that heavily depend on bombs to beat. If you don’t mind replaying a level over a week or so. This is the game for you. If not, I wouldn’t recommend this game because of these issues.

What happened to my favorite game?
I have been on level 1503 for over a week. After almost 200 attempts to win, dozens of boosters and paying for five more moves I’m now broke and still on level 1503 and this has become the norm for Family Hotel.
It was my favorite game and I’ve spent hundreds of dollars supporting the app but I’m not going to keep putting money into a game that intentionally designs levels that are impossible to pass without paying.
I’ve also tried reaching you several times through the help button but it requires a pin and I have never received one. I don’t want to quit you but I’m not a good loser and paying to win isn’t really winning...
It was my favorite game and I’ve spent hundreds of dollars supporting the app but I’m not going to keep putting money into a game that intentionally designs levels that are impossible to pass without paying.

Great game but…
I really like the game but I have two really big issues with it. The first one is that the game keeps freezing after I pass some of the levels and it causes me to have to close out of the app. The upon reopening, I notice it took the life away and didn’t give me any credit for passing the level. The second issue which is now my biggest issue is that I can’t get past step 2 of “Decorating the Library” on chapter 25 because it will not load. I can continue playing and getting more keys which I have a lot of now but I cannot continue the storyline. It says it’s downloading but the bar won’t move past 0%. It’s been like this for several days and the app is up to date. I have emailed support and they said they are aware of the issues but have nothing they can do at the moment and there are no new updates. After reading a few reviews I’ve realized this has been going on over a year now.

SO LISTEN UP DEVELOPERS, MAKE AN OPTION TO BUY THE WHOLE GAME WITH A REASONABLE PRICE SO POOR PEOPLE CAN PLAY TOO! You’d make more money that way. Pretty good…but…
I play Penny and Flo ad Ilys garden but like to have something else when I’m all caught up with story line. Both of those games have better graphics, better decor to chose from, and better story line. The story line here sometimes reads like it was written in another language and some words and meanings get lost in the translation. I’m going to stick around for now and hope things improve. I do like the opportunities to win boosters. I do wish the clothes were more practical and no I would never pay money for clothes or decor, but I do like to win opportunities for them.
