Overall Great, But Could Use Some Adjustments
I chose to begin running a Fantasy Hockey League and did some research and looked like Fantrax had the most options for league customizability, which is just what I was looking for. As a commissioner, I love it! I can make whatever I want to happen, well… happen. Also, particularly have had a great expierence with their customer support. They get back to me quickly and have been able to fix or help me fix anything I need. And I don’t have to call them (which I hate), I can just email them. (Shout out Nathan)
The main issue I’ve been running into is as a league participant. Changing players and trades and dropping and adding players is such a hassle. I like to adjust lineups in advance, but DO NOT do this on Fantrax. If you want to drop someone, you will have to go and adjust every single line-up you’ve done where that dropped player is active. It’s overly time consuming.
I believe this can be fixed with a premium league and you can be allowed to make moves that make your team illegal (which you then fix), but for free leagues, it’s pretty annoying.

Best Baseball Platform I’ve Used
Fantrax is a great fantasy baseball platform. I was hesitant to leave ESPN after using it for 5+ years, but I needed something more robust and customizable, with a larger player pool. Fantrax delivered on those needs and then some. My favorite part about using Fantrax, outside of the endless amount of features/options, is the customer support. They are extremely quick to respond to support tickets (most recent one was literally 5 minutes) and always resolve the issue and provide instructions on how you can do it yourself in the future. I cannot recommend Fantrax enough. Very happy with the switch. A+.

Best fantasy baseball platform ever
Our league was formed at ESPN and played their for years…very rigid, no support…then they decided to ‘modify’ the platform and it wasn’t ready for opening day…craziest, stupidest thing i ever heard of!

Fantasy baseball has gone to redraft to keeper and now dynasty leagues…dynasty is the best if you love baseball and fantrax knows how to host dynasty leagues…the customization is unparalleled, the support is most times within an hour.
And when i say support, its not because something is wrong, for me, its either a question to clarify something or a feature request.
Fantrax is like a swimming pool with something for everyone.
For newbies you can start in the shallow side and keep it simple. If you really into prospects, dynasty, stats up the kazoo and stuff, go to the deep end of the pool…

The Best fantasy baseball platform
I have been using fantrax for all of my redraft, keeper, and fantasy leagues for over 13 years. They have every option you can ever dream up and even when they don’t have something they will work to create it for you! I absolutely love their customer service. Whenever I have a question and contact them via email I always get a solution in less than an hour. The premium league service is Wirth every penny. Looking forward to using the Fantrax Treasurer feature this year for free as part of my premium service. The new draft lobby looks awesome as well. Joe S

Fantrax Is Top Notch
I’ve been commissioner of my league for well over 10 years now. We started at Yahoo, moved to ESPN, had a one season paid stint with CBS, but out of all the formats Fantrax has been far and away the best. 2023 is only my 2nd year here but I’m never leaving. It’s easy to use as both a player and commissioner and the content is excellent. But what stands out head and shoulders above the rest has been their customer service. I’ve reached out a total of three times and each time I had a same day response. That is unheard of for all the others. It’s Fantrax or dissolve the league for me.

Pretty solid
Better than any other platform I’ve seen for fantasy basketball. Highly responsive customer support. Allows to configure league settings and keepers with a far greater degree of specificity than other providers I’ve used. A potential con that some in my league have struggled with is that the interface is not as intuitive as one might expect or hope for. But with time I feel that it is easily learnable. I have very few negatives and am glad that we made the switch from ESPN. I also use Yahoo in another league, and think FanTrax is far superior.

Best Fantasy Leagues hands down!
The diverse type of sports Fantrax covers is really amazing! And then each of the modes for each draft is what gives it great versatility. Setting up the rules for the leagues are also easy and gives you a bunch of different options so you can have the league to your liking! And to top it off customer service is very helpful and replies in a heartbeat. I’ve been running a league here for 5 years strong and honestly don’t see myself going anywhere else for my fantasy leagues!

It’s okay
The app takes much longer to make lineup changes, look at different screens like available players, and change lineup days than any other app I’ve used - ESPN, CBS, Yahoo, Fleaflicker. This lack of speed can be very aggravating. The automated lineup change does not properly fill all openings so if you want to make sure all possible players are started you have to make the logical decisions properly coded software would have made. On the plus side the screen is very detailed and easy to view. Regardless, the time spent doing simple things like going to a different day or making a lineup change makes this an inferior app.

Unparalleled fantasy platform, masked in a UI nightmare
Everything from league navigation to add/drops to trades is a headache. Inconsistent notifications and a draft board that sometimes doesn’t auto refresh adds to the struggles of using Fantrax. Let’s also talk about how drafting can be impossible if its started with “invalid rosters” because you can’t add/drop in the middle of a draft to fix those issues. They took function over form too seriously and forgot that user interface is such an integral part of app design. Here’s to hoping this future update will alleviate the headache of using this app.

Non Stop Ads Starting Today
These new celebrity cruises ads (that basically won’t go away) at the bottom make the app almost unusable. I get it that they need adds on the free version but the amount of space these ads take up on the bottom and then forcing you to minimize and then close out of them (which is hard to do without actually clicking on said ad, which obviously they want) to actually get to the option bar you need to access anything on the app is totally ridiculous.
I don’t think in 14 years or whatever of having an iPhone that I have ever left an app review, this is how infuriating this stupid app crap that just started popping up for me yesterday or this morning is. Do better Fantrax
