The only downside I see at the moment is you can't print. Occasionally I like to print my references when building a certification package for instance. Otherwise I love the search features. Saves a lot of time. Thanks!!

Great for looking something you already know, but not much else.
This is a great idea and the information is current. I pretty much used this constantly during my classes as a reference for my flash cards app more than directly studying for it. There's two reasons why I wouldn't recommend this app:
1. You cannot highlight anything.
2. You cannot make bookmarks.
I was coming from the kindle version of my FAR's and I probably would not have bought the iPad version had I known that I couldn't do this.

This app does have the FAR and works independent of internet access. That was my main reason for paying for the app. However, there are some issues that make it difficult to use. Some of the text formatting doesn't follow the outline structure of the FAR's (paragraph (a) is immediately followed by sentence (1) on the same line) which can make difficult finding the topics. Could be much better if the referenced sections and parts were hyperlinked for easier navigation. Bookmarks would be helpful.

Descent but...
So this app is pretty good though a little overpriced. Especially when the 'updates' appear as amendments and not in the main text of the Parts. And the updates are not even all there. The app says it is recent from April of 2011, but is missing information that is present in books that are using info from June 2010.

Now my go-to app for reading FARs. Easy updates. Search function makes looking for particular FARs a breeze. Recommended!

Great on the go tool but not kept current. Some of the regulations have been revised but there is no update for this app.
