1.1.6
2022-06-20
Beginning with Summer Nationals 2022, FencingTimeLive score sheets include a QR code on the bottom right corner. This QR code can be scanned much more quickly and reliably than the optical scanning we have previously relied on, which will be phased out soon.
Bug fix: you can once again edit the names of fencers by tapping on their name in the fencer list view. Previously, the name was scrolling out of sight, making it impossible to edit.
Coming soon: an iPad version of Fence! Pro, which delivers an easy-to-use score sheet and direct editor, without being a score app. Perfect for tracking your or another fencer's progress, or using to score an entire pool from the sidelines. Look for "FencingKiosk", in late June/early July 2022!
1.1.5
2021-06-03
Restored italic text in penalty chart (indicates penalties which anull touches).
1.1.4
2021-06-02
An option to manually select the next bout in pool mode helps when double stripping.
Bug fix: when jumping to a new bout, fencers names didn't update until the first touch was scored.
1.1.3
2021-05-18
Option for 90-second DE rest break (due to COVID-19 and masks)
The "Mark Bout as Finished" option now presents Left/Right victory options if the score is tied (i.e. presumably in priority).
1.1.2
2020-10-19
iOS 14 bug fixes.
1.1.0
2020-06-04
Scan in a FencingTime poolsheet and run the pool from your phone!
Say goodbye to trying to figure out the next bout, the on deck bout, while juggling to record the last bout: once you've scanned a pool sheet, Fence! Pro will prompt tell you who's fencing, who's next, record the scores, and even make sure fencers are on the correct side of the strip!
The camera scanner scans pool sheets from FencingTime in just a second, with high accuracy. Give it a try!
