Description
FiC (FiveInCommon) helps you meet people in local social communities. Select one or more communities and you will get recommended matches to people in the same communities you choose. You will see which community you have in common when viewing their profile.
The people we recommend you meet will have 5 or more things in common with you. There is no better way to meet new people as a Parent, a Couple, or an Individual.
We designed FiveInCommon to meet the unique needs of people in all stages of life - from the youthful 20’s through the gray years and every stage in between. Meet others in communities you choose who are at the same stage of life. This is for Parents with young kids, Parents with adult kids, Grandparents, Single Dating, Engaged and Married relationship status. This app is awesome.
You will need to select your Relationship Status when creating your profile. Doing so will make sure you only get recommended matches to people with the same relationship status.
Social circles evolve as people get older, get married, have kids, relocate, and for some become empty nesters. As we go through life it can be time consuming making new friends so we created FiveInCommon to help parents, couples and individuals quickly expand their social circle of friends.
After you create your profile we will provide you with recommendations of people we think you want to meet. For each recommendation you can Say Hello, Pass, or choose the Maybe option.
If you choose Say Hello, you can send a message to the other person; the other person will receive an alert for your request. That person can view your message and choose to Accept your request; if they Accept you both can chat with each other.
If you choose to Pass, you will not see that match again.
If you choose Maybe, you will temporarily skip the match. You will see the match again so you can take a closer look at another time.
COMMUNITIES. In FiveInCommon you need to join one or more Communities. Each Community is an affinity-based social group. Communities use FiveInCommon to help connect their people. Communities include local neighborhoods, churches and other affinity-based organizations. If you join a community we will match you with other people in that community. When viewing your matches, if your match has joined the same community you will see the community name in the interest tag section of their profile. We do this so you know what community you and the other person have in common.
Please note: This is not a dating app.
