* New Feature: Player Availability Status
We are introducing the user availability feature. Users can now set their availability status as "Away" if they are unavailable to play. When a challenger goes to the ladder to challenge an opponent, FidGrit will inform them if the opponent is not available. This will allow the challenger to challenge another opponent instead, saving time and reducing frustration.

FidGrit now supports 3 Ladder formats including League, Box and Challenger Ladder

• Challenger Ladder
Challenger Ladder allows Players or Doubles Teams to challenge opponent at higher rank that falls within challenge range as set by the Admin. This Ladder format supports a maximum of 200 players per Ladder

• Box Ladder
Box Ladder is the most competitive FidGrit Ladder. In this format, players are divided in various Boxes or Divisions as setup by the Admin.
When session starts, each player will compete against every other participant in their Box and at the end of the session Box winners will move to higher level Box, and losers will be demoted to lower level Box and a new session will be created with new Box assignments.
Box Ladder can support up to 100 players per Ladder

• League Ladder
League Ladder organize and rank players who compete against one another on a regular basis. It organizes matches in continuously recurring Round Robin sessions, it’s a perfect format for small group of participants ranging between 6 to 16 players or doubles teams.

• FidGrit Tournament
Whether you are planning a 10-player skirmish or a 1000-player multi event pro-level tournament, FidGrit got you covered.
FidGrit Tournament supports three types of events and you can host multiple events per tournament. With FidGrit you can organize following types of events per Tournament

Now you can select your country, city, state and postal code for your ladder, team, event or user profile. We have added all the countries across the world to our platform and tweaked postal code and state to support format across all nations.

*** Reserved spot for Admins in Singles and Doubles ladder
We have increased ladder member limit for singles to 17 members (16 players + 1 admin) and doubles to 33 member (32 players + 1 admin). This sill give a reserved seat to Admins and allow them to optionally decide whether they want to play or not in the ladder

** Ladder Admin can opt not to participate in ladder matches
Now Admins can decide whether they want to play or not in the ladder matches. They can opt out while creating ladder or from ladder admin panel

Welcome FidGrit 2.1! Here's a summary of new features

Sports Team event now supports all racquetball sports
After the success of FidGrit team events for Tennis teams, we have extended event functionality for all racquetball sports. Now you can schedule Round Robin, Playoff (Knockout) and Custom sports events for Badminton, Squash, Table Tennis and Racquetball sports teams as well. These events can be scheduled as paid or free events.

Scheduled events now appears in the activity feed
When you schedule a team event they appear in the activity feed of team as well as members of the team.

Events Statistics
Team events are now packed with statistics so players and coaches can analyze their performance within events. FidGrit currently offers following statistics for each event
1. All player comparison within event
2. Leadership board sorted by number of games won by each player, win% and points accumulated by each player during the tournament.


Leadership board
We have added leadership board within FidGrit sports teams and FidGrit Ladders statistics. The leaders board can be sorted by number of games won by each player, win% and points accumulated by each player during the tournament.

We are super excited to announce FidGrit v2.0!
The release is focused on Tennis Doubles and Tennis Singles, however, we are working on adding these features to other sports as well.


FIDGRIT TEAM EVENT
FidGrit Team Events are a great way to get everybody together and easily organize everything, so the whole team spends less time organizing and more time improving.
CREATE EVENT - Name your event what you choose, tag a location on the map, indicate whether singles or doubles will be played, and write a short entry describing your event in detail.
SET THE FORMAT - Events can be calibrated to play as round robin tournaments, straight playoffs, or double-elimination tournaments. You choose one at setup and the matchmaking system does the rest of the work for you!
PLAY SINGLES OR DOUBLES – Once game format is set, FidGrit algorithm will kick in and schedule matches accordingly.
SET EVENT SCHEDULE - Set your event to last for an afternoon, or a month, or whatever duration you wish. No matter what works best for you and your team, FidGrit is ready and able to accommodate.
MANAGE RSVP – Players have the opportunity to RSVP to the event and mark their attendance. The administrator can also update player RSVP from the event page. Closed RSVPs can be re-opened up to 24 hours prior to the tournament’s start, too, so you’ve got more options than ever.
SEED PLAYERS – When organizing playoff event, you will have an option to seed players. Once seeded, FidGrit algorithm will prepare event format as per player seed.
MANAGE SCHEDULE - Select date, time of each location. By default all players and team admin can update score, and you can also assign a volunteer scorekeeper to track and publish score as game progress.
COLLECT PAYMENT: Create Payment plan for event and collect dues from members to keep the event going. FidGrit allows you to collect payment from website and mobile app using Stripe.
PLAYER STATISTICS - You don't need to do any manual entry for statistics. Once you enter match score FidGrit algorithms will automatically kick in and update player's statistics within Event, Team as well as in his personal profile.

FidGrit is now proud to offer Ladders as part of our unparalleled platform for athletes. You’ve been playing in Ladders your entire life—you just didn’t realize it until now. Ladders are merely a way to organize and rank players who compete against one another on a regular basis.
1.EASY SETUP : Choose singles or doubles ladder, set age/gender restrictions, find a location, and name your ladder. Then, invite your friends to join and get started!
2.LADDER SESSION: Every time players meet is termed as session. Players or scorekeeper can track score as matches progress, when match completes FidGrit will update players ranking and statistics. Once session is over, FidGrit will automatically create a new session and you can manage schedule and player’s RSVP for upcoming session
3.LADDER STATS AND RANKING - Not only does FidGrit track your entire playing career, but your stats just from the ladder matches can be viewed on their own. After the final match of each session completes, the ladder rankings are recalculated and the next round begins.
4.FINANCIAL SIMPLICITY – The Ladder Admin can choose if he wants his ladder to be free to join, or require a financial commitment to support officials, scorekeepers, venue fees, etc. The admin can set up a one-time payment, or a recurring subscription model, allowing those financial costs to be shared equally by all ladder competitors

1.FidGrit now supports Basketball. Players and teams can schedule, track, record and share a Basketball game. Our system allows players, referees or coaches to keep track of every match point with precision in milliseconds.
2.Want to ask your team members or community which shoes to buy or which sport equipment is better? Creating a poll can help. FidGrit is introducing new Poll feature for Teams and for Individuals with ability to provide 5 voting options with description and images
3.Your security is of utmost important to us and we are always working on making our app more secure. With this release, we are introducing self-expiring content URL's, which means, once you view an image on FidGrit app or Website, the address of that image will expire automatically in few minutes and people who are not on FidGrit or in your network won’t be able to see them.
4.Before finalizing a scoreboard, a confirmation dialog appears preventing post by mistake
5.In basketball 3-on-3, score keeper can see how many 1 pointers and 2 pointer a player has scored this far in the game
