The updated FieldAgent app has added the following capabilities.
Fly Forward with Sentera Sensors
Sentera has updated our green Single and Double 4k sensors to enable fly forward. This change removes the east-facing drone heading requirement. A firmware update is required for this new feature. The app has instructions to walk through the update process.
Terrain Informed Flight Planning
Flight planning now has an option to enable Terrain Informed flying. Before takeoff, the app will use elevation information to adjust the drone's altitude during flight dynamically. Terrain Informed flying is especially useful for capturing imagery for analytics processing, where a consistent GSD leads to more accurate results. Requires an internet connection to load elevation data.
Real-Time Mapping
Flight planning also includes a new option for Real-Time Mapping. This feature allows the app to use the drone's video feed to generate a map of the flight area, in real-time, during the mission. The map can be shared through text or email and uploaded to your FieldAgent account as a map layer. The Phantom 4 Pro v2 and Mavic 2 Pro platforms are currently supported. This feature will be supported on other systems in a future update.

Stand count has been really accurate this season. The whole user experience keeps getting better. Added the gimbal this year and improved coverage and accuracy.

Not easy to make precise flight plans
I don’t like the fact that you cannot save a flight plan for future use from the app, only the desktop.
Also, give us the ability to import GPS points for corners of flight plans, or at least display GPS coordinates as you hover your mouse over the satellite imagery (like Google Earth does). That would at least get you close when you’re making flight plans.

Simple!
Used this app with a DJI Mavic with the Sentera NDVI camera. Worked great. Flight planned, up and flying in minutes. Photos look nice and neatly dropped onto my map. Very simple! Great tool for quick NDVI field maps

Good but needs work.
The program is really easy to use, but there needs to be more options to set the flight path. Also, 70% of my flights result in the drone hovering at the start point until the battery get down to about 85% and then eventually starts the operation.

Fantastically Easy to Use
I was up and flying in a couple minutes, super intuitive mobile app. My Phantom 4 Pro with their NDVI sensor collected data and I didn't need to worry about a thing. Just tapped a couple buttons and it was off. Even came back as soon as the battery was low so I could swap it out. Then took off and started collecting data from where it left off. Definitely using this as part of my operation this year.

Great App
AgVault is a great app. I was able to easily configure my camera settings and create a flight plan in a few minutes. I luanched my Phantom 4 and it completed the flight plan with no issues. I was able to upload the imagery to AgVault and created a quick verification using the Quick Tile feature to see I had the coverage I wanted in the field. Easily the best flight planning app.

Easy and Well made
Love this app! It's the the easiest to use autonomous flight app out there while at the same time allowing users precise controls over settings that other apps fail to provide. Great customer service and all around solid app. I'd recommend to anyone from a new user to and advanced professional.
