With Film Tracker you can easily keep track of the films you want to watch and keep an archive of the films you have watched and enjoyed. You can search or browse for films within the app and generate a new film entry with just a few clicks!
If you want to keep an eye out for new film suggestions then make sure you enable push notifications so that you don't miss out! The suggestions will range from new releases, films by genre, popular films and a few favourites from us. Alternatively, add the Film Tracker widget to your home screen for instant access to the current most popular films!
So, whenever you’re deciding on a film to watch, you'll just have to look through your tracking list and pick one out. Just make sure you give the film a buttery popcorn rating and share the film with a friend, through the app, when you have watched it!

Upon installing this new update, you will notice the changes instantly; a complete new look to the app, reducing the visual noise with the change of colour scheme and making the important content stand out with a cleaner layout. You will see some more native behaviours, with dynamic page titles and search bar improvements, which contribute to the neater layout and improved user experience.
If you haven't enabled push notifications already, then this update could bring some more options to you, with the introduction of suggestions for actor profiles and genre lists, where you will see a wider range of content. This one is all about discovery, we wanted to give you some new tools to discover more films whenever you need something fresh. Firstly, we have added a list of genres to the browse tab so that you can easily pick out certain film categories. Additionally, the search functionality has been merged into the browse tab to keep the discovery all in one place. On top of that, you will now see film collections on the actor profile pages so that you can find more films by your favourite actors.
As always, there have been other minor tweaks and adjustments to keep the app floating.

When browsing films to watch, you can now see the acting cast to help you spot your favourites!
Now, after tracking a film, you may want to refer to the summary again; simply click on your film entry and click "View" - you will then be directed to the summary view. For existing entries, if you can’t see the "View" button, you can click "Edit" and then "Link to a summary" to manually add the reference - you will then be able to see the "View" button.

Now, there is a film summary screen that has been added so that you can now read any film's overview to give you a better understanding of the plot before you decide on watching it - check it out!
