App doesn’t match current edition book
I mean, I like the app for what it is.... however I’m kinda upset I spent $10 to help study and then find out it doesn’t match the most recent version of the $90 book I had to buy for the class? I’m sure there are similarities but the chapters and page designations mean nothing anymore since the 9th edition is definitely different than the 8th. I also don’t like the way some of the wording is. Kind of ironic it’s an instructor book that references learning and comprehension, yet questions are confusing and worded poorly.
Overall I really do like the app, it just needs to be current with your publications as that’s what’s being taught and tested for certification.

Good but with grain of salt
IFSTA’s effort is nice but cannot even get their own test bank correct. Many confirmed wrong answers. We pay money to have CORRECT material. It’s disappointing. Too bad we cannot upload pictures, I would show you quite a few examples.

The app was a huge help. I took several tests, approximately 30 questions a day for about a month. It was extremely convenient to take the tests while I was watching TV at home or flying on an airplane. At least 40 - 50% of the questions were right on the test.

Great App!!!
When taking the state certification test for Instructor I, it was clear that they pulled all the questions from the same test bank! It made the actual certification exam a whole lot less stressful!

Fire Instructor exam prep plus
This app prepared me very well for Colorado State test. Questions are not word for word so the need to study from the book is still present. Great app. I scored a 90 % on the test!!!

Extremely disappointed
Don’t waste you’re money. They have incorrect answers and isn’t updated to the 9th edition. Could absolutely be a big money maker for them if they actually put some time into an updated more attention to detail app

Don’t buy if in Virginia
I spent hours/days using this to help study for Instructor II in Virginia. VDFP has made sure not a single test question comes from this test bank. Do not waste time or money on this app.

Absolutely useless
There was more information in a game of candy crush than on this app. It was old edition not new. Should get a refund. What a waste this was.
