Description

Welcome to FireJumpers Sandbox, a real-time co-operative multi-player wildfire fighting simulator!

Based loosely on our single-player game (FireJumpers RTS), the Sandbox Edition puts you in control by customizing your own scenarios:
- draw your own fires
- set the speed and direction of the wind
- decide on your units
- and most importantly, play cooperatively with your friends!

We've been listening to all your comments and suggestions from our previous game and we have rebuilt everything from the ground up! This simulator includes:
- pinch-zoom
- improved smoke and fire particle system
- improved units
- online chat
- Walkie-Talkie" option allows you to speak directly to other players within the game!

This simulator has no score nor rules. It's about you, your friends and the fire. It's great as a training tool for its scenario editing features.

Not perfect but great
The gameplay was beyond what I thought it would be like based on appearances, always has some active players online (which you can play by yourself if you want). My understanding is that the developers are very active in the community and development, that’s always something I look for in games. I love many aspects of this game (favorite being wood cutters) but I’ll just leave my suggestion, I wish people entering a game could not place people on the map, some sort of leveling or reward system would be nice. And a profile pic or something. Those are not huge issues but would be motivational, otherwise I’ve had no glitches, games met and exceeded my original expectations based on what I originally thought it would be like. 110% everyone should play.

This is a solid game even for being still a little old this is still amazing and I love the concept so much. I never thought I’d enjoy a game like this and I completely thought it was gonna be filled with adds, but I’m so glad it wasn’t like many of the games on the App Store today. Thank you for not filling it with ads.

I also love how your able to control the fire so well and able to do so much with such a simple sandbox game. This games deserves much more recondition than it has right now. From what I heard from other comments you have responded to I heard your creating a new game/better version of this one which makes me really excited.

Anyway good luck, I look forward to the new game!

Great game but need help with premium
The gam itself is great. It’s realistic, and is a good strategy game. However, I paid for the full game which should get me the ability to share custom maps and use infinite special units. But I paid for it, and restarted the game, and I can’t use the features. The game itself has no indication that I bought it. Everything looks exactly the same. The button to buy the full version is still there, but the money has been taken out of my account. It says something about visiting a website, but that website takes me to a free Robux website.

A Really Fun Game
I have always wanted to be an firefighter in someway or form. This game is based off a wildfire in the forest. You have to stop the fire before it takes all the forest or the city. There can be up to 40 people in one server that can help out. You also have to start a budget for yourself. You can have 50$ to 1,500$. It is for challenging your friends and yourself to see how good you are. Another cool thing is how you can have people cut down trees before the fire gets there like in real life. There is a lot more to this game that is really good, but you have to play it for yourself to really enjoy it. Thank you for your time reading this hope to see you in the forest. Great game, but a few ideas!
This game is so much fun. I’m bored these days with not much to do. Though I had some fun ideas that might be cool to have in the game. More dynamic fire behavior with different weather factors and wind, only allowing a single user to manage air attack in order to avoid confusion and collisions, % of containment, acreage, structures lost (and some other useful statistics), having to evacuate towns if the fire is close enough, being able to do burn operations ahead of the fire, different aircraft (maybe even the 747 super tanker) and new ARCGIS maps that cover more recent fire like the Camp fire in Paradise CA. These are all just ideas and would make the game even more engaging for a group of players.

Good concept
I enjoy the overall concept and gameplay. Movement of your units is a little wonky and only having two “special” units is annoying. I understand, for example, having 10 super tankers would be unfair and unrealistic; it’d just be nice to have a bulldozer, engine, and brush truck. An overhaul of the arrangement of units would be nice.

Now to my biggest complaint: I paid for the game, and still don’t have access to full game features.

Definitely recommend this game if it interests you in the least! Would highly recommend with unit overhaul and if I had full access after payment.

Solid Game, Needs Support
Fire Jumpers Sandbox is a solid game, and there’s nothing I could say about it that hasn’t already been said. However, I would like to bring attention to the lack of support in recent years. The game no longer runs in the aspect ratio of modern iPhones, possibly as a result of the attention towards its sequel. I don’t want to see Sandbox abandoned when the sequel is released, it’s a great game. Just an update to keep the game running on modern hardware would be great. Thank you for your time.

Great game but
I’ve been playing this game for a long time and it’s been one of my favorites. I tried to get the upgrade of the full version paid for it and that’s about as far as I got can’t figure out where to get it how to get it very confusing. Don’t know if this is a glitch or a bug but it is very frustrating when you pay for something and you can’t use it. pay for it I can’t play it. It appears that this hasn’t been the first time this has happened according to other reviews. This frustration is the only reason I’m giving it three stars.

Great! But...
This game is so addictive and fun but there are some minor problems. First, when I try to make personal maps the game crashes. Second, sometimes during games the map is mostly burned, and then a ridiculously large amount of fire spawns again. Most people leave the game after this, I think you should have a limit to the amount of fires players can spawn. These are mostly it, as well as frequent crashes, but all in all it is a great game.

Fun, one issue
So this game is tons of fun. I actually went to get the full version, however, and it says I’ve purchased it but when I try to play I don’t get acces to anything I would in the full version. None of the extra units nor even the offline mode. If I could get some help here it would be totally awesome and I’ll definitely bump up the review as well

Edit- seems to be working great now, no complaints, wonderful game!
