Can’t connect to WiFi
Unless you can configure your router to only broadcast 2.4 ghz and not dual band like every router operates on, you can not setup the robot. Here’s the best part. You cannot directly connect to the robots WiFi until you’ve at least one time connected to a network WiFi that’s not broadcasting 5 ghz. So, if you can’t figure all that out, you have an expensive tall action figure you have to move yourself. All the effort building a quality robot that most people can connect to because programmers must be hard to come by. And with all these negative reviews, you’d think they’d fix it by now. They might have but I can’t connect to the robot to upgrade any of the firmware. Nice effort though.

trash app disgusting company
this app is so freaking ridiculous!!! I can never have a stable connection with the robot. Even if the robot said “channel secured”, the app still showed me connection failed. For times I happens to connect, I would have brand new troubles of connecting the robot to a local network! The app freezes at the input password interface. This is so frustrating and annoying when I paid over 200$ for this thing and all I got rn is a stupid big plastic garbage. This company never cares about the customer and just leave the app alone after released it on the App Store. This company better go bankrupt cuz it’s scamming my hard earned money!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hard to setup and keeps crashing
The Robot itself is really cool, it’s too bad the software is garbage. It took me a day just to connect to WiFi (yes my login was correct). It felt like pure luck when it finally connected. Next the iOS app just keeps crashing on the mission game, even though we have the latest iOS update and the 2019 iPad model. I hope the iron man version is more stable because this one is going to be returned.

The direct connection doesn’t work
I can’t say about the WiFi cause I’m at an hotel but I’m pretty sure it don’t work either
So this update was 2.4 g and nothing but more options to do the same thing I was doing before

Works now !
It works now! The company fixed the app and i was finally able to get my stormtrooper to work. You still need a 2.4 ghz wifi connection to set it up, which i dont have, so i used my cell phone as a hot spot because it broadcasts in 2.4. Worked like a charm! Thanks to ubtech for listening to us and making the fix!

App keep crashing!
Can someone in the ubtech do a update on this app because the app keep crashing every time I use the training mode. For the money I pay I expect this app running smoothly. It’s 2019 I see nothing, but negative review. I hope you guys can fix this ASAP. I know ubtech just released a Ironman version, but they got to show some love for the storm trooper too.

Broke
Doesn’t work. The app itself keeps asking me to connect to WiFi. I am connected. I tried it on three different Apple devices all wit the same response. Garbage before I even unwrapped the robot. Will be sending this back immediately. More trash for the landfills good job!

This app has never worked for me rendering expensive robot inoperable
I get a connect to internet error when I’m completely connected and sending receiving data. Never lets me use my robot. Very dissatisfied. Rather than returning, this user is hoping for some technical support and hot fixes and updates.

Cannot connect to WiFi
I bought this for my son for Christmas and he is so disappointed we can’t use it. We have a dual band router and it won’t connect to the 2.4Ghz. This thing was too expensive to not be able to use it. Not sure what else to do, so I will probably return it.

Can’t use it
I download the app. I reconfigured one of my routers to the different ghz as per a reviewer mentioned 2 years so it could connect…. Nothing. It says I’m not connected to wi-fi and I can’t connect.
Maybe I’ll use it as a doorstop.
