Runak2,
Surprisingly subpar
I buy every single Kairosoft game as soon as it is made available and have loved every single one. This one, on the other hand, has a different look & feel vs. all the other games and is missing a lot of the charm of others. The most glaring issue is the reliance on RNG to advance further in the game, namely randomly find a specific item on your park lands that increases your bank limit. Without finding at least one of these items you will never be able to get 3 star park title or better and be prevented from expanding your park after two expansions. I'm 9 years in and still can't get that title. Great concept but poor execution that I hope they address in forthcoming patches.
Qwertyasdjkl,
Honest opinion
I am someone who has bought every single Kairosoft game that has come up in the AppStore and seeing all the negative reviews I thought I'd give my own two cents (for once). Some people have failed to realize that thought it is new to the AppStore this is an old Kairosoft game that has been repackaged and translated to be played on Apple products. It's not as sophisticated or elaborate as the past releases but still enjoyable nonetheless. After giving myself some time to warm up to the rules and controls I ended up playing this one just as much as I do the others. After seeing such negative reviews I was hesitant to try it, but after I did I would recommend the buy especially since it's cheaper than the others. There are some bugs like kanji showing up in place of English words and sometimes you have to take swap fish around in order to gain new fish but other than that it has been an enjoyable experience.
Edsea,
Frustrating
I have several Kairosoft games and really enjoy them. This game, however is frustrating because the features are buggy: first, the game will only play in portrait on my iPad so the fishing controls don't work right. Second, when research completes for a new card, they sometimes don't appear in the card list. Third, the game is very laggy. I have many games on my iPad and none of them are laggy. I hate the Specialization feature because it forces you to spend money on things that are pretty much useless. And they keep escalating in price and sucking your money up for little or no return. For example, I had to pay $1000 for a return of $10.
If you say no to them, they just stay there and, you are forced to pay. It would be nice if they would go away if you click no.
I would wait to buy this game until it gets fixed.
Hernan lala,
Good, but.
When i first saw this game, i thought i wouldnt like it. After i got it, it was pretty cool. But there are a few things to adress:
-map looks a little small. If the map could be made bigger in order to implement roads to make it more "park" like, i would be much happier, because i dont like it when a forest is in front of one of my inns, hotel, tourist center.

-separated tiles. This was one thing i did not like. As much as it did look necessary for this game, i like how the ground was in the other games (not separated.)

-luck is needed to advance. When you open a specialty box, you hope to get a rice ball or an ancient tree in order to rise your money by 5,000$ (rice), or 20,000$(tree). But at the same time, it might not increase your money cap, and just cause more people to visit(which is not bad). I currently have 145,000$ capped, and i am stuggling to find a rice ball just so i can finally get the last title which requires 150,000$ to be saved up (may be alot, but money is quite easy to make).
MendolynSkye,
Kinda boring
Not much magic to this one sadly. I've loved all the other titles but this was was boring. The gameplay is redundant and the park you're building is unattractive being divided up into squares instead of looking like a pretty park. It's not a hard game but I still can't figure out what the point is and nothing I do in the game seems to really produce interesting results. Sadly this game is just kinda boring.

3 Stars From a Fan
I've played every single English Kairosoft game and this one is without a doubt, the most boring. The formula is still the same yet something about this one just doesn't grab me at all like the others have time and time again.

TL;DR
Don't buy this game expecting another Kairosoft great. It is boring.

One game to to rule them all and one world. Kairosoft a collections. I'm addicted to them all. I'm hoping one day they will make their 8 bit version of the sims. Dream one was good and cafe Nippon and all Kairosoft games I played has been great. Simple, funny, and brings me back during the early 90's. Keep it up Kairosoft.
crredwards,
Not the best Kairo experience
This game looks and feels like Kairosoft used two completely different concepts and mashed them together. I have loved each of their games in the past, and I'm always trying to beat the year deadline on them. This one? Nah. In fact, I kept watching the in-game calendar and wondering why it seemed to be moving so slowly. The lack of cohesion and fleshed-out story made this very boring very quickly.
Kintaro 2,
Very un-Kairosoft like game...
Doesn't feel or play like a genuine Kairosoft game. It looks the part, but had none of the addicting management aspects.

Very boring game overall, the first Kairosoft game I ever played that I didn't feel like finishing.

Still good to see they translated this much faster than the last game.
KimJongPhil1,
Fun and different from the rest
Does a Kairosoft deserve any other rating than a 5? Especially this one?
