flspearo,
Nice and clean but Regulations access needs help.
Very nice looking application with a good amount of info. One thing that would definitely improve the app immensly would be a direct reference to regulations from the fish section. The way it is now you can id fish by looking at photos and view some details about the particular fish, but no regulations. You would then have to back all the way out to the main menu and then go into the regulations section and scroll through to find the regulation that would govern the fish you just identified. A link or embedded regulation info is a must.
CBMelton,
Save your money!
Weak app. Refers you to google maps.
jrudyiii,
Needs to be updated more frequently
This would be a great app if the developer updated the changing fishing regulations, i.e. the early opening of scallop season, the closing of snook season, etc. Although there is a disclaimer to check the FWC for the "most up-to-date" regulations, why pay $4.99 when you can go to the FWC website for free? Also, please update the boat ramps section and the Bait shops.

Pros: knot section is excellent along with the fish Identification and measurement information. Keep updating, especially with the oil spill and I will give it more stars.
Redfish52,
Read the Directions
The newest version of this app is GREAT! It loaded with ease. I READ THE DIRECTIONS!!!! I hate it when people leave bad reviews because they are too lazy to read the directions or follow the instructions. I e-mailed BrokenLure to thank them for the clear directions, because I was concerned after I read those other reviews that I wouldn't be able to get the app. Not so, after reading the directions is was so simple to load and it works perfectly.
gr8bigbox,
I like this app.
This app is great. I used this app a lot of times. It helps ppl learn about the fishes of florida and regulation on specific species. There's only a couple of things i would like changed about it. 1. List more fish. I caught a fish in the gulf that i had no clue what it was and it was not listed. 2. Tides. Tide predictions would be a nice upgrade!!! 3. GPS. For iPhone 3g and 3g s this would be useful to mark great fishing spots to come back to. Overall this app is GREAT!!!
PirateLooknAt40,
Love it!
Great app, thanks for the update! I had to REMOVE the old version then REINSTALL the update, guessing is was trying to read old files or something. I've had that happen to me before when updating other apps too.
SKAMATT23,
reload the software...
I didn't see any directions to dump the old files for the new ones...now I am good to go! Never had to do that for any of the 100's of apps I own but who cares...it is fine now!
Spearfisher,
Great app
This is a great app. Only idea for improvement would be the ability to make notes on each species and something like an editable trip list (shopping list) for a trip.
Codyt2012,
Great app 5 stars
Would be better if freshwater fish were added, including record sizes, and FWC regulations for them. Also a category should be added for the different crabs of Florida.
audreybabe,
Awsome app
Great app for any saltwater fishermen in FL. It comes in handy for the novice fishermen when they have no idea what they just caught. One item that could be included is if you should use a wire leader or a normal one. Also what the fish feeds on.
