"Fishing Knots" - is a program for your mobile device, showing how to tie knots.
Among the many knots fisherman should select and use the right one. In each case - his own. How the knot weakens the fishing line? Which knots to use for thin fishing lines, and which - for thick? Which knots can be knit on multifilament fishing line?
The encyclopedia contains different type of knots for: binding of two fishing lines; tying leads; attach large and small hooks, baits, lures, swivels; connection fishing lines and the binding cord; tie a boat and etc.;
For each knot, tying methods is described in detail. Also description of each knot contains step-by-step guide "How to tie" with illustrations.
Describes in detail the properties of knots. The estimation of the strength reduction for each knot. For each knot provides recommendations for types of fishing lines.
The application can also work without the Internet, all the nodes are loaded during installation.

Simple and incredible
I’ve had this app for a long time now. I’ve used it so many times while back country fishing here in Colorado switching back from fly fishing to my bait caster. It’s also extremely useful for camping or learning new knots you can incorporate into your everyday life. I’ve also recommended it to many of my friends new into fishing. I love it because when you run out of cell service, you still have this to rely on.

Could be better
Now I remember why I removed this app a couple years ago. The images aren’t that great. It would help if the images had more variation between the line. Like maybe when one line passed over the other, the line behind should be a little lighter or grayed out so you can really tell the difference between the two and which one is passing over or under etc. not a horrible app…but it’s like the people that design these apps/images do so on a large computer screen rather than a smartphone.

Must Get Another or Tolerate Blinking Forever?
Not bad, at a (short) glance. Unfortunately, when I went to click the (purposely) annoying, ever present red notification dot, was redirected to another app, NOAA radar I think, which I am not interested in having, and returned (a couple times to make sure), I realized the developer of this app feels it is okay to have a blinking notification light constantly trying to for e me to download another app I neither need nor want. It never fails to amaze as much as disgust me, how far companies, apps, etc will push things, to abuse us, really, because they feel they might squeeze a few more pennies from us. Shameful!

Needs sorting and/or search
The videos and information are solid, but the knots themselves are not organized in a way that makes them easy to find. They are not in alphabetical order or any other order that I can determine. There is no search function either. If you are looking for a specific knot, you basically just have to scroll through them all until you find it.

Very poorly designed app
To start with, the developer should have consulted a “native English speaker” to help them write the text and instructions. In addition, the app is poorly laid out, so finding knots is extremely difficult. And for some insane reason they did not provide a “search” function so you have to fumble through knot after knot to find the one you’re looking for. After using this app a couple of times, I deleted it out of frustration. Find another app!

This app is really useful
Ive had this app for 2 years and i have never broke off cause of the knot was tided right but only complaint i have is that when you watch a video it opens another app

It’s Great
Haven’t had a chance but i did download for future use after camping for an entire weekend. I can honestly say i could tie some new knots with this app just with the image demonstration and would recommend this app to others looking to get into new experiences outdoors.

I use this app religiously! But the one thing that would be awesome would be if you could save knots and come back to those ones later.

Great app
I will say I don’t use this all the time but it sure does help especially if you’re a beginner at fishing. It could be a little more specific cause it’s gets a little confusing on some nots but you’ll usually figure it out sooner or later.
