Description

Turn your favourite place into an impressive marine aquarium where you can learn interesting facts about the world as you play and discover more than 200 cards on real species created in collaboration with biological experts from Barcelona Aquarium.

The aim of the game is simple: you need to look for a certain species and take a fantastic photo of it. As you do, you will unlock an enormous collection of species available and new aquariums.

Application rated 9.2/10 on ArCritic.com and selected by Apple as a recommended AR App.
The game uses Apple’s new ARKit meaning it is compatible with iPhone 6s or later models and iPad Pro or superior models.

Great aquarium, hope it improves

Terrific AR aquarium! Lots of fun to show your friends no matter where you are. Not to be critical, augmented reality is still a brand new field, but there is room to improve. Being able to move or rotate the coral would be a _big_ help as the app often places it in a bad location. Also needs seahorses, jellyfish, octopi and cuttlefish. In the future I hope they make a "deep sea" aquarium because there are a lot of fascinating creatures down there. I look forward to seeing what they’ll do with Apple’s new shared AR feature.

Camera issue

The game started, and never gave me an option to use my camera. I had to manually find the function to turn it on.

Aside from that issue, the game seems pretty interesting.

Great!

My 10 yr-old just spent 2 hours hunting objectives. We think it's very good. App did crash when saving photos to camera roll. Otherwise this is a very entertaining app. Nice job.

Excelsior!!!!

I love this app. It’s been 25 yrs since I took down my 200 gallon s/w tank. This app really takes me back and I am seriously considering starting up my tank again.

No instructions

I agree with a prior review. No idea what I am supposed to do when the app opens. All the aquarium that are located in other locations are locked. No idea if you have to pay for these or earn them as part of progressing through the app. $2.99 down the drain. Make sure you understand what you are buying and how it works before purchase

Love

I love marine biology so this game really appeals to me. I like being immersed in the aquarium and learning the names of all of the fish. If you like learning about aquarium fish, this is the game for you.

Awesome

Just discovered AR (I know, I’m behind in the game) and I’m totally hooked. I love this game and for a non techie, it’s easy to follow. Will play this game as long as I can.

Cool idea, but performance is a huge problem

Running on an iPhone X, this game can’t keep up. It seems like it would be really fun, but it just can’t track motion correctly or keep the aquarium in the right place. The frame rate is horrible. Too bad.

Camera exposure

The camera exposure is not correct, everything is over bright and messes the whole experience up, not a good app right now.

I can’t honestly rate this game because I couldn’t figure out how to maneuver it. There are no directions or tutorials. Is it compatible with iPad Pro?
