(General Introduction)
You have two ways to enjoy this game: playing the solitaire or answering the quiz. Yet they are not separated. You need first play the solitaire to get chances for quiz. And you will answer better if you play more.
(Number of Countries/Regions)
There are totally 175 countries/regions in the game, classified into seven groups by population from high to low, with 25 countries/regions in each group.
(Playing the Solitaire Game)
Playing the solitaire requires your observation and patience. You are to remove two same flags each time until all flags are removed. If two flags are positioned vertically or horizontally with no other flags existing between them, they are removable. To make flags removable, you can move flags only one time. Your task is to find out the flags that are potentially removable. This is where your observation and patience are required. And you have only one chance for hints.
(Answering the Quiz)
You will get 0 to 6 chances to answer the quiz after each solitaire, depending how well you finish it. You are to answer 25 questions within 90 seconds. Questions are randomly chosen from group 1 to the group that you have just played. Group 1 is the easiest group and each correct answer gets one point. The higher the group number is, the more the point is. There are two question types. You are to answer either the country/region name when you are given the flag, or on the contrary. The number of straight correct answers is highly weighted in point calculation.
(Country Profile)
When you tap a flag, you will be informed of the following information about it: Country/Region, Continent, Capital, Population, GDP per capita, and actual location on the world map. Thus, by playing this game, you will not only become an expert of flags, but also you will know much detailed information about each country/region.
(Scores)
Three types of scores will be reported to the leaderboards in Game Center. They are Best time, total numbers of Completion and Quiz Scores. In addition, achievements have five levels.
(Options)
1. Languages: There are totally 12 languages supported. Menu language will be automatically chosen from your device settings. Language of Country profile can be manually chosen from the option menu.
2. Zoom: You can rotate the device to landscape to play the solitaire in full screen.
3. Colors: You can change the screen color among three different colors.
4. Others: You can announce your scores via Email, Facebook or Twitter, and get more chances to answer the quiz.

Educating and fun
It's hard but addicting. I'm memorizing flags and capital of of the world as I'm playing. The quiz reinforces what I memorized. This game is great for kids and adults, learn while you play. I wish the designer will add more flags of lesser known countries. Taken time to watch the demonstration game first or you'll get frustrated with your first play.

Flag Solitaire on ios16
Game does not display accurately in rotated view when using new ios16 update. Love the game (have had several versions), but buggy in ios update.

This app crashes upon opening on the iPad. All apps from this developer either don't open or crash. Keep looking. Do not download.

Very enjoyable way to spend an evening!
I've spent the last few hours playing one game of flag solitaire after another. It is just challenging enough to keep you interested but not so easy that you lose interest. I think most ppl will enjoy it. Kids as young as 7 would find it a fun game. Having a timer makes it more fun and comparing your timers withers makes for more competitive gaming for those who love to be the best! I will probably spend the extra 99 cents x 2 for the additional levels. Not a ton of irritating ads even on the free version. They don't interrupt the game once it begins. Love it!

Sooo fun!!!
Solitaire with flags. Gotta actually think a little before you move. Helps learn flags of major countries but since you are so intent on beating your previous time, you end up not really paying attention to the info about the countries. But still really fun and challenging.

Flag Solitaire
This is a fun game but when you try to play again you have to restart the program. Fix this please because this is obnoxious. The hint button isn't as clear as it could be. Those tiles need to be more clearly defined. Can the flashing ads. I still like this game a lot!

Failing, extremely disappointed.
I gave this a good review a few weeks ago but in the last few days the game has gotten ridiculously bad. The hint feature suggests pairs that cannot be made (mismatched flags), and the game ends itself saying there are no more pairs when there absolutely are. Not sure what happened--maybe a bad update?--but this has become too frustrating to enjoy at all.

Should have different levels
I like this game but I think they should have different levels. Sometimes I want a challenge and sometimes I just want to feel good being able to solve it every time. :)

Love this game!
The only problem is when I try to start a new game, it doesn't open to a new game. I've deleted the app and reloaded it and it still won't work. I would also like if it would tell you when there are no more pairs. Please fix this. I love this game!
