Now you can enable automatic exercise detection by teaching your FLEX how you lift.
Once FLEX has LEARNED your individual movement pattern EXERCISE ASSIST automatically detects the exercise you are performing.
Use this to automatically correct your exercise type should you forget to change exercise.
EXERCISE ASSIST also improves measurement quality as once your movements are "Trained" FLEX is much better at rejecting noise and ghost reps.
New icons inform you of which exercises types are in LEARNING MODE, UNTRAINED and TRAINED.

A race condition meant that on saving session edits, sometimes 'load record data from cache' happened before edits were sent to the server and the edit would not stick.

*Predicted 1RM*
1RMp email report will now auto sending after end of protocol. (broken in ver 1.15)
Fixed problem with 1RMp history not updating. Same root cause as the broken trigger for the 1RMp email report.

*Minor UI improvements*
Footer menu was transparent in My Account Info and My training Info menus (due to iOS15 update).
Fixed live editing if using backspace in detail editor (previously pressing backspace when in detail editor, the sets/reps/metrics would not update.
Fixed rest timer label that was displaying by default "Max N seconds". Rest timer label is only displayed if specified, and defaults to Max 30 mins".

Point release to fix an issue in video record mode where the 1st rep can be partially missed.

FLEX still provides hands free "start to stop" for data collection and video recording.

Select the camera icon, position your device to capture the desired angle, select the data overlay template and then lift as you normally would do.
Your video will start, stop and crop to capture the set you just completed.

In v1.15 we have introduced serious enhancements to the way you can use the FLEX Stronger App. By removing all barriers between FLEX's training modes, you are now free to use almost any feature in the App while training.

Some standout benefits to this new multitasking functionality:

- Add or remove other lifters from a session at any time.
- Complete programs and 1RM prediction protocols with your training partners.
- Check your previous lifts and results part way through your session.
- Add programs or 1RM prediction protocol into your session at any time.
- Create or download a program AFTER starting a session, then add it into your training immediately.
- Use Video Mode with other players who have been added to the session

Try out the new minimise function from your REVIEW screen while training and access all the other features in the app.

We have added an ACTIVE bar to show you live feedback if you lift while the app is away from the main TRAINING view.

You can now also:

- Change lifter order with a drag and drop action in the training partner selection screen.
- Use a one-time code login option if you open the FLEX Authentication email on a desktop computer.
- Add individual rest timers for each active lifter. They will countdown separately so you can each keep track of your breaks.
- Bump the bar, or have it bumped in a busy gym, and not have it auto-transition to the active TRAIN view from the REVIEW screen.

And we have:

- Added the link to the MEDIA MANAGER to the main footer menu.
- Consolidated training, device and user settings into a single menu.
- Split the 1RM History into two screens so that exercises with manually entered 1RMs are now separate from exercises that you haven't entered a 1RM against.
- Added reminders and instructions for entering 1RMs if you create or download programs that use %1RMs.

Finally, as always, we have made as many generalised performance enhancements and bug fixes as possible!

When launching downloaded workouts you can set targets based on your friend's results.
Make sure you leave a message in Community to let them know you've taken on the challenge.

*SKIPPING SETS * and your updated Progress Screen

If following a Workout in FLEX, you have an updated progress screen with a sexy progress bar, completion indications against each set and the ability to SKIP sets.

*Resume Feature*

This is a minor app update in preparation for (a) an over the air update for the FLEX device and (b) a MAJOR update to Workouts (favorites)

Minor refinements to the Workouts feature
FLEX allows you to save any session you have completed as a template. If you repeat a workout based on one of these templates, FLEX will step you through the session and recall your previous efforts (ie weight lifted and your performance metrics like velocity, power etc).

To make it simpler to understand for users we have:

* Changed the main menu heading from 'Workouts' to 'Favorites'
* Added new text instructions
* Streamlined the process for adding to the saved Workouts library(now called Favorites).

Just a few minor tweaks on our pathway to a major update with greatly enhanced programming capability coming soon!

**Firmware Update**
The FLEX App requires an update to make the most of an upcoming firmware update.

The update brings overall improved performance and stability through:

* Improved calibration during commissioning for smoother data output and refined rep detection.
* Increased wake duration to help eliminate some instances of partial first reps.
* Improved feedback when pressing the power button. (Relevant for serial numbers 1534 and above)
-Holding down the power button will initiative a rapid flashing of the LED
-Turn Off time reduced to 3 seconds (hold the power button down for 3 seconds instead of 5 seconds).

This is one of our biggest updates so far! If you’re someone that likes to record your lifts, well then we’ve got news for you.

FLEX now allows users to record and save videos locally within the App!!
Easily export, email, text or share to socials with our latest sharing options.
This is a great addition for remote coaches who require videos from their athletes. Coaches will be able to check their technique, observe barbell position, velocity, power, distance or bar path.

The VIDEO FUNCTION includes a stack of awesome features like;
- A choice of 4 different data overlay templates.
- IMMEDIATE REPLAY, via a new swipe screens in review.
- A new swipe screen with a list of sets done with video record enabled. Users can REPLAY or EDITvideo from here.
- A new MEDIA MANAGER section has been added under the user profile section. Delete unwanted videos, Filter and group videos, select and export + TRIM Tools are all located here.
- Users won’t have to worry about saving videos between sets. Videos are save directly into your HISTORY. Review todays lifts or scroll back a month or more and check out your form from previously recorded sessions.

LOGIN
Users will now experience Lightning FAST LOGIN. With history items now being loaded only as required. This should be most noticeable for users that hammer their FLEX sensors with multiple sessions every day!

1 RM PROTOCOL
We also worked hard to improve the already accurate 1RM PREDICTIVE PROTOCOL.
Users will notice improved flexibility and options to lift additional sets should you feel comfortable. These improvements will increase the accuracy of your prediction.

BUDDY MODE
A new BUDDY MODE progress screen has been added, which highlights a noticeable change between athletes when transitioning between sets.
Buddy mode now includes GUEST MODE option. TRAIN and record data with a buddy that doesn’t have a FLEX account.
It couldn’t be easier, Just enter their email address and you’re set.

MAT CHECK
A new, mat check prompt will alert the user if the signal from FLEX is poor. Typically this is when users don’t position the reflective mat correctly. The system will now give tips on placement and positioning. This feature will help ensure you’re getting the most accurate data possible!

SOCIAL
Users can now share a primary template in the community section, your friends will see this template when scrolling through their feed without having to drill into the session.

This release includes fixes we wanted to work on before the next feature update.

You won't see it, but anyone training offline gets a better saving process and we also made some fixes to the login process. For those that love the Workouts feature, we made some improvements to the saving process there too.

We've also gone ahead and tidied up a duplication issue in History that a few users might have been experiencing.

We are constantly searching for ways to improve performance, but we're also excited by new features and enhancements. Next release you can expect more of the latter!

NEW - VELOCITY TARGETS

- You can now set Mean and Peak velocity targets in Training. You can set Targets from the training screen (to switch from Peak to Mean Velocity press the 'mean velocity' label).
- Mean Velocity targets are also saved in Workouts so you match or beat your results when you repeat that session.

BUDDY MODE

- Always Accept option now available for anyone that trains regularly with a friend and doesn't need to check data before accepting the session into your own personal records.
- Entering Buddy Mode is improved by eliminating the need to create a friend connection with someone beforehand. Just choose your training Buddy from the 'not following' list and away you go.
- After the session, Friends still need to accept your connection request in Community to accept that session into their own History.

COMMUNITY

- There's now a quick link bar added to the top of Community that shows your friend list, and it highlights anyone who is training right now.
- Load times are faster, and you can now press the Community icon in the footer menu to speed back to the top of the page.

TRAINING

- The Exercise Library can now be filtered by All, Most Used and Most Recent exercises, and has grown to over 50 exercises.
- FLEX will track and report your Velocity Personal Records for different weights and exercises, so you can better track progress at sub-maximal loads.
- There is a new Zero Bar Weight reminder if no weight is recorded after a set.

1RM PROTOCOL

- We have further improved the protocol by offering the option to 'redo' the first set if the starting speed is on the slow side, along with a few touch ups to make the process smoother.
- We have done more work to improve the final estimate accuracy.

HISTORY

- FLEX has improved navigation when reviewing your session history (press the History icon in the Footer menu to scroll to top of page).

EDITING

- Deleted Sets and Sessions will no longer show in your History and a warning is now given prior to confirming the delete action.

NEW EXERCISE INTELLIGENCE
- We can now recognise non-standard start positions for certain exercises. For example, we know if you've performed a clean to rack position in order to complete your Front Squats, and only your squats will be counted. Similarly, for exercises from a hang position we can now differentiate between the initial deadlift and count only your Hang Cleans or similar.

1RM ESTIMATE & POWERLIFTER MODE
- The 1RM predictive protocol is much tidier with improved warnings, check and notifications for what comes next.
- Powerlifter mode is brand new (an option to accommodate Powerlifter's slower lifting speeds).
- You can now edit your Minimum Velocity Threshold (MVT) and FLEX will recognise when you achieve a new slowest lift speed in regular training and offer to update this for you.
- View your 1RM results from your History with the option to edit and recalculate.
- New 1RM protocol icons and templates to make it easier to find 1RM protocol data in History and Community.

LIVE
- Watch your friends data as they lift. The green 'active' icon on their profile picture in Community will tell you they've got FLEX on the bar and they are moving some weight around. Your friend's session will be uploaded to Community as their set is completed.

VIDEO RECORDING & BACKGROUNDING
- FLEX will now continue running in the background, which means you can switch to your phone camera to record while lifting and collecting data.

EXPORT TO CSV
- Exporting is now available from a new menu in your History. Your training data is emailed directly to your FLEX Stronger login address, which you can forward to your coach or analyse yourself.

REVIEW PEAK VELOCITY AND POWER
- When reviewing your session in History, press anywhere on the summary table, or press on the Velocity or Power headings on the respective screens, to alternate between mean and peak data.

BUDDY MODE
- We've improved the transition between Buddies during training to make it more obvious who is currently lifting as well as populated the 'add friends' screen to show you users from the growing global community of FLEX users.

Great In-Set Interface
Love it during the set. It’s not as intuitive looking back at information.

What I need for 5 starts (please make this happen!!!)
1. I need ability to input pounds and not kilos when it asks what weight I’m lifting (dumb American here)

What I’d love to be able to do:
1. See all the graphs (velocity/force/work/power/bar path) more easily when reviewing results
2. If I use a tablet/laptop witha bigger screen can I see all those meters at the same
