Raising Money, Simplified
I’ve been part of teams raising money with FlipGive for a few years. What originally drew me in was their boast to “never sell a chocolate bar again” which was met with “hallelujah!” from myself and my group.
Over the years their platform has been steadily improving as has the growth of brand partners. In my book the launch of this app is a quantum leap forward for those of us who are tethered to our phones. The FlipGive app provides the ease of mobile app shopping + the all new local or location based shopping which is awesome when you’re out and about. What’s really proven to be an upgrade is the app as a communication tool amongst our fundraising team as messages are now in one place and never go missing.

SO grateful for this App!
My team already uses the TeamSnap app to schedule all of our games and practices & communicate on everything like carpools and snacks, so it’s super convenient that the FlipGive app is integrated with it. Sometimes you have to remind yourself to buy things through the app to make sure your team gets the cash back, but if you actually make a habit of sticking with it and making your purchases through FlipGive’s portal, it ends up paying off in the longrun. It takes some time to start earning actual big bucks for your team, but you can get big chunks of money at a time if you remember to use the app for major purchases like new computers and vacation trips.

Has helped my cousins baseball team drastically!!
Have been using flipgive for quite a while now and have nothing but positives to say regarding it! My cousins little league baseball team was planning a trip to Cooperstown but needed funding which led to us starting a team here. It’s great knowing that I can still help his team raise funds by shopping online at all of the stores I love. After three months, my cousins team raised enough money and will be heading to Cooperstown this week!

Inconvenient horrible site
Very inconvenient site. After each purchase I had to send receipts and make a claim because nothing was credited to my account! Then since I live in Hawai’i, they would not accept some receipts because it would land in a different day of purchase due it time difference. So I had to email and call customer service several times! Once reached, I do have to say they were nice, however I feel overall this app was not worth it compared to Rakuten where monies are placed in your account right away and no hassles! Now I can’t withdraw my earned funds from FlipGive….waiting on the site to get back to me!

Fundraising
Our dance studio competes and the cost is quite large. I love flip give because I shop for things I would buy anyhow and it gives free cash towards all her fees. This was my first year using it and I raised almost 100$ in a four month period. I am starting now for next years fees ,now I have my own competition going to raise more money for next year!! No brainer every sport organization should use it best of all it’s free!!

Very flawed
They get you to make purchases you wouldn’t regularly, then won’t honor the deal. If you already shop at any stores listed, you must sign in as guest because anything associated with your account (free shipping, member only deals, etc) it will invalidate your claim. They send you a claim denial email stating that they won’t make money, but are fine with you spending money through their portal. Maybe just growing pains, but I’ve learned my lesson (only cost me $80). Oh also won’t let you unregister only signout, they keep your info forever. Only one star because it ends up actually costing you money while you are trying to save. Use ebates and donate yourself.

Fundraising never been this easy!
I wanted to update my review because FlipGive customer service took care of the issue and I really like the app. It’s very easy to use. Our soccer team raised over $1,200 in less than five weeks. We also received the $100 grant from Fanatics.

Waste of Time
I don’t typically write reviews, but FlipGive is so bad, I think others should know. It’s very difficult to maneuver. You have to earn at least $100 to get your cash back. If you don’t get to $100, they take away the bonus offers earned. Then you have to request payment. I’m sure a lot of people simply just give up. If you are looking for good a cash back app, use Rakuten. They simply mail you a check periodically. You don’t have to request it. There is no minimum required for them to send you a check. Rakuten is easy, FlipGive is not.

I am so glad I found out about FlipGive!
I was skeptical at first but our team signed up right before back-to-school shopping time and now we’ve raised nearly $1,500 in a little less than a month.
So easy to use and a no brainer if you’re too busy for a regular fundraiser.

Best Team Fundraising Application
FlipGive is best app I have used to raise money for my basketball team. Funds can be expensive and it was so easy to get my team involved and it’s so easy to earn cash from simply online shopping! I recommend this to all my friends and family looking to raise money for any good cause.
