It’s nice
Firstly, I noticed that the option to use only Apple Pencil doesn’t work. (I am not complaining about the ads because I turned off my WiFi) Secondly, you can’t zoom in very much, which is very annoying. Though, it is really cute, and it has some nice features that I haven’t seen in any free animation apps. I think the cute aesthetic helps with the stress that can come with animating, and it is inspiring me a little bit. I think that this would be awesome with more basic features. I feel like this is the opposite of flipaclip, where the free version of that has all of the basic features but FlipStudio has not all the basic features but ones that are more uncommon for an iPad animation app. So I think, if you want to get an app for starting out, getting out ideas quickly, and just something cute, do FlipStudio. It’s free, so there’s nothing to lose if you don’t like it. ♥️ have a good day and have happy animating!

Okay so me and my frends love this app. But the twenty hour posting is gunna make me CRACK!! Here’s an example,so say I drew a bunny walking in a garden, after LONG ENOUGH I try to post it. Then, IT DOESNT EVEN WORK!! Okay sure, that’s not too bad. But whenever I try to make a “spin off” to a video that’s STILL in the gallery, it says “material expired download”. then when I go to my studio, ITS JUST ONE BLANK FRAME!! I really need this fixed. But overall, I love this app Thanks for listening to my opinions!! Okay also thank you for not using tags for chats though! ❤️❤️ ANOTHER THING!! So i HATE the character limit in comments. LITERALLY EVERYTHING basically has a limit. Anywayz bue!

Not the best
So basically I chose to try something different than FlipaClip, I saw this and chose to try it. Now there are reasons why I gave a 3 star. Number 1, when I would go to draw a line, it would take multiple times to actually let me draw, whenever I go to draw, it does not do anything unil after like 3 try’s. Number 2, it was so, SO hard to find out how to make u see the layer before, so since it wasn’t rlly possible for me to see the layer before my animation didn’t look as smooth as usual. It’s a pretty cool app but some troubles within it.

I absolutely love this app and all, but the whole “post in 20 hrs” makes me so mad. I work my heart out into my art and it tells me to wait a whole day?! That’s all that makes me a little ticked off. Please, I bed you, change that. It’s so unreasonable and unexpected,

All the bugs I said above are included aswell, but everytime i try to color , it exits me OUT OF THE APP and when I COME BACK the coloring is GONE!!!! I have been trying to color the same picture for almost 4 hours. (I tried coloring 8 times already logged out thinking it would go away) come back color it logs me out of app after I add detail!!! Fix it!!!! PLEASE!!

Its good but
I am a new animator and I was looking for a good cheap animation app to start my journey when I stumbled upon this. When I was trying to draw my first two frames I quickly found out that you cannot undo any mistakes you made on the frame you were drawing on once you flip to another frame. Plus I cant zoom in all the way and it gets pretty annoying. But other then that this is a pretty good app and I definitely recommend this app to people who want to try out animation or people who are just getting started.

Great App!
I haven’t noticed anything that bothers me other than a couple things that aren’t too major. The app is like flipaclip if you’ve tried it but with a more descriptive tutorial and easier tools. My only issues are that you can’t change the size of the eraser, and you can’t zoom in the drawing enough to erase small mistakes or draw more precise. Other than that, I this app is amazing.

The only problem is that I can’t zoom in but I love it sooooooooooooo much you can like make your own story with it and you can do anything(except zoom in or can’t use Apple Pencil) but that’s not a problem you can use your hands! You can draw and use your own creativity to make any story’s I think that it’s so useful and cool to make story’s and make your own characters and also it’s so cute and your character is really really REALLY CUTE!!! I love it!!,

FlipStudio: Okay for Learning, Needs some Fixes
As an artist who is trying her hand at animation as a small hobby, I greatly appreciate this app for its charming format, simplicity, and affordability. The software is not short of glitches, though. I may list a few:
1. The section in which you draw on tends to blip out whenever I am doing the line art. It does this whenever I zoom in.
2. The area where you adjust frames has difficulty loading, and so I must turn the app off and back on again. This mainly occurs when the frames are copied and pasted.
3. This is a small nitpick, but I wish there were different sizes of erasers. Right now it feels a bit too big.
Overall, I enjoy learning animation through this app and I enjoy animating my characters in fun ways! Thank you for creating it!

Excellent app, very cute
I would highly recommend this app. There’s cute soundtracks in the background, an easy to use audio feature, a favorite layer paste feature, and many others that you wouldn’t see anywhere else. Great for people who are getting started!
