I did encounter a few problems though, but admittedly, I’m not using the app exactly as it’s intended to do. If you’re going to use the app for what it’s designed for, it will almost certainly work fine for you.
(I’ve been trying to find a sort-of AR photo viewer, where all I want to be able to do is place down multiple images on either suspended or physical flat planes at once, and be able to navigate in AR.)
The two main problems I encountered were that scaled images were, well, scaled, visibly. Not too sure how to describe it, but it’s not a seamless process. Text on images will jitter and become blocky, and the loss of detail is very noticeable. The problem does not exist on the text, and for me, personally, feels less noticeable on videos.
The other problem was that images that should be behind something in previews don’t move behind something, and consistent position doesn’t feel the most smooth. This, while unfortunate, is also understandable, considering this isn’t the purpose of the app.
Anyways, works pretty nice. This is probably the closest I can get to what I need.
