*Escape pollution and dodge the smog!*
The Flow companion app from Plume Labs collects and analyses the data taken from your Flow’s PM2.5, PM10, NO2 and VOC sensors and gives you beautiful, easy-to-read reports, maps, and graphs.

*Ever feel trapped by air pollution?*
Air quality, AQI index, smog levels: with Flow, you can find the best clean air commute, hunt down fresh air playgrounds, eliminate chemical hotspots in your home, and that’s just the beginning.

*Did you know?*
Wind and weather, humidity and heat, atmospheric pressure, and many other factors create clean air pockets in urban environments. In fact, air pollution levels change up to 8X from street to street in the city, and even more from room to room indoors! Flow gives you the information you need to stay healthy at home or on the go.

*Stop guessing and start sensing!*
A new study from top researchers at King’s College in London shows that, with good data, you can reduce your exposure to air pollution by as much as 50% by making small changes to your routine.

***Key Features***
Track your personal pollution exposure with live data and daily reports: Flow measures real-time concentrations of PM2.5, PM10, NO2 and VOCs, as well as the AQI air quality level to give you everything you need to understand your exposure and build healthy routines.

Avoid the most polluted places: Flow tracks air pollution variations around you in real time, so you can find clean air.

Flow fits seamlessly into your daily life: Whether you're cycling, running, out in the park with the kids, or relaxing at home.

Freezes iOS 11.3 devices.
Super slow to download data from device. On iPhone 5Se after you started it freezes the device which requires a hard reset. The device has a design problem in the docking station where the power connector is not connected and the device in the socket drain easily the battery. The app display stupid information for a just in house use. No major update in the data display, no option to have one single graph of the parameters with a longer history than the last 24 hours. I would say not recommended.
Master Coder,
Hello Sensor - Goodbye Battery
Faulty readings. GPS will only work if you select locations services “Always” so your battery is dead after a short day working. I spray hand sanitizer after touching crosswalk buttons - and that throws the sensors off for 45 minutes. And waking up on the morning... forget about checking the air through the night - you have to export and email the data to yourself just to see what the air quality was at 11pm while you were asleep. I appreciate what they want to do - but they are trying to jump to the finish line instead of growing this product organically, working with users to slowly develop something good and stable. I am sorry I ever found this app and wasted money on the sensor (which has never lit up since the day I started using it). What is the home button? It does absolutely nothing. A start up that will flop if this keeps up and you are left then with useless plastic junk.
FoxtrotFling,
The constant use of GPS & BT is not good.
I’ve been using the Flow for a couple days now and with it using my gps, Bluetooth and running in the background on my phone I’ve lost 35% of my battery life on my iPhone X using this app. They really should have put a gps in the device itself and a low power Bluetooth connection to maintain connection until you need to preform a full sync. I love he idea of knowing what the air quality is around me but not at the cost of charging my phone way more frequently. I would also like to add that the app needs a day, week, month and year view for your data. Hard to make choices about the air your in if you can’t view a historical visual layout of how things get worse or better though out the year. Maybe my walk to my coffee shop is better on the weekends than the weekdays... I will be returning this air quality monitor due to these issues.
ron'snnickname,
Almost Awesome!
So many things about the Flow 2 are really well designed and work flawlessly it is a shame that they totally missed the mark on some basics. As it turns out, the Flow 2 is not the only thing I use my phone for - and it is not the most important thing in my world. There is no way to turn this battery thirsty thing off! I can pause it for prescribed periods of time but they are short. There is not even a way to turn off the Bluetooth connection without doing a factory reset on the device! I tried to reach out to their Customer Service twice with questions but they have been totally unresponsive. So Close to Awesome, but they really missed it on some of the basics.
Rain976,
Reading are off
My VOC reading say 500+ which I’m pretty sure if WAY off. I emailed support a week ago, but haven’t heard anything back to help. I live in Texas, but have taken it to Colorado and Washington, the VOC reading have never changed. All the other reading seem to be ok. I was hoping to at least be contacted, even if it’s not fixed by support before this. I’m getting ready to go on and international trip and would like to know that my flow is functioning correctly before leaving. I love the idea of this, and the people I’ve shown my flow to are excited and think it’s a very cool idea too.
dvergar,
Just stopped recording data
It shows real-time data when I launch the app. But it stopped recording daily graphs April 20. I deleted the app and reinstalled it, and still nothing. I leave it running in the background all the time. But no history since then.
Symptoms User,
Wish I could love this!
This device has literally taken my phone from 100% performance to 98% in a matter of DAYS! Completely unacceptable!!! I had to turn off the always on gps but even so, it is still killing my battery. The battery drain isn’t even worth the compensation for the trial I’m in. I love what it does, but my phone is way too precious to be drained by an air pollution device. And as someone else stated, Bluetooth can’t even be disconnected from the phone’s Bluetooth settings smh. It’s a no from me.
India Home,
I Regret This Purchase
Wildly inaccurate most of the time. I spent a few months comparing flows’ readings to two other instruments while over the same period emailing back and forth with customer service. I got accurate readings a few times for short periods but that was it. CS kept promising all would be fine after the next update but it never was. Most irritating was that after I gave up and asked for a refund (several times) I was ignored.

Great idea, cool design, but it’s junk.
wulfmeister,
Awesome
Convenient, practical, and accurate/detailed enough for me. Really happy Plume is innovating in this space. Bought it for an international trip to some pretty polluted places and excited to try it out there as well.
DN335,
Improved
Since my review in December, the app has been working fine.
