I am not a plant enthusiast, but this app made me so addicted in knowing more about plants. It is made in a very interesting and educational way that everyone can easily understand and enjoy. So far, everything has been accurate. Clearly great effort has been put into this app. I have not tried other similar apps like this yet, but I think this is the best one, that's why I have not tried other apps. Also love that most of the needed features are free to use.

This app is sincerely cool. It identifies the plants quickly and easily. You can either upload an existing photo or take a pic via the app. Once the plant is ID'd, it links automatically to its wiki page so you can learn more. There's the ability to save your plants in the app for easy access. And in green-friendly states you can identify your favorite strains. Honestly, I've used other plant ID apps that say 🤷♀️ when you search - this was a whole new experience! Thanks

Amazingly FREE app (though donations are welcome of course). I usually take pictures with my phone's camera app and then use this app later to identify the plants. What I really like is the way it asks me to select the part of the plant I want to identify, leaf, flower, fruit, bark... Then it identifies the plant and if it's not quite sure it'll say so but suggest it's nearest guess, which is a clue for further research. I think it's used by botanists, horticulturalists? it's not too technical

I’m writing one more review for those people who are not satisfied with this app. If you want an app like this to take care of your plants it will not identify them and you have to pay for some of the things if you want the extra stuff. I would suggest Planta. This app helps you take care of your plants and how to water them where to put them in and I’ll tell you if they have too much light to less light or they need more water. So if you want to act like this and you weren’t satisfied with a sign choose Planta. (I was not satisfied with this app either you can’t use it without buying the subscriptions!)

I've only just downloaded the App, I've been down my garden snapping my medicinal plants etc and a few oddments and it's given me the right answer every time, I'm well impressed. I did have an issue I had no screen shortcut, so I had to uninstall the App and then re-install it, which did the trick so Im up and running & cant wait to find plants names easily to add to my garden collection.

I love this app!
I have the full version and it is life-changing. My plants LIVE! It's amazing! I no longer suffer from struggling to keep track of my plant's needs in my head. I can let go, the app tracks everything for me and I can simply delight in tending my plants when they need me. This is my absolute favorite app!

Not worth it!
This app is is not worth it! All it does is take a picture of your plant, then do an image search and bring up Wikipedia? And about 80% of the time it can’t even identify a your simple house plant. Then, if you finally do get your plant “identified”, Wikipedia ask for money?!?! Sure… it has like 10 articles about plant care, however, the articles just recycle over and over. I felt it my civic duty to write this, and warn my fellow plant lovers to look elsewhere before you make the same mistake I did. I wouldn’t even use this app if it was FREE!

Would love to try app. But can’t even try once before it asks for a $9 a week demo. If you cancel you can have a 3 day demo then pay $29 a year. Which doesn’t add up. Most positive reviews are all from same day. So they seem suspect. Most reviews since then say it didn’t work or they couldn’t test because of demo policy. Maybe they’ll

LOVE this app!
LOVE this app! It does so much more than identify plants! You can learn a lot about plants here including diagnosing issues by taking pictures. A wealth of information including gardening tips - very comprehensive. Best app I've seen in quite some time.
