Great Potential
This is a very good app given that it's very new. There are definitely still some clunky parts but that's expected with all new apps. I love the novel idea on turning the Pomodoro technique into a game. I loved the Forest app but thought that there could be more interaction and this is exactly what I was looking for. I was hoping for possibly more battling or monsters or something but maybe that'll come in the future. I look forward to seeing how this app evolves though I will lower the rating if the evolving doesn't happen lol.

Good idea, bad execution
So, I love the idea and design of this app. However, it does not give you a sound notification when the timer runs out. So unless you’re glued to your phone in order to see the silent notification, it’s ultimately useless as a timer. You know, only the most basic function of a pomodoro. I’ve tested my phone to see if this is an issue with it or the app itself and it’s definitely only this app. I’ve checked the settings to see if I have notification sounds off, nope. Turned off and turned on my phone, nothing. I’ve deleted and reinstalled the app, nada. I have never had this issue with any other app before, and unfortunately, it’d actually be easier to ignore on another app. But on this one, it renders the product almost entirely useless.

I said that deleting and redownloading the app did nothing, I was wrong. It actually got rid of my items and pet despite me having a profile🙃

Huge Productivity Increase!
I was already using a pomodoro timer that worked... fine, but I thought I would try FocusByte to see if there would be any benefit.
WOW! I was already a good student, but FocusByte has helped me increase productivity in my studies AND other aspects of my life! The simple RPG/collect-a-thon style got me to focus more in my lectures, writing, workouts and readings too! In 2 days, I already deleted the mobile games (which I had for years) on my phone so I could stay focused!

Great idea
Personally, I always had trouble focusing on my work, and I have tried countless of apps to aid me in that. However, none of them worked as well as this app. Through its utilizing of a game type of atmosphere, it really allowed me to incorporate that reward mindset into my work. I would highly recommend this to anyone that have trouble focusing; it’s the most effective app out there.

Great app but some bugs
I just purchased the pro version because I really fell in love with this app. But I just found out that I can’t remove or edit tags. Please fix this bug. Also if the app can be optimized for iphone 7 screen size, the app would be great. On my iphone 7, things are on top of each other or go beyond my screen. And it would be nice if I can choose the background color other than lilac. Otherwise I love the theme and everything!

Great tool but some glitches
This is the best app purchase I’ve made for productivity! Makes studying more bearable. But I have been having issues with the app resetting randomly in the middle of a session and so I’m unable to retrieve my reward. This has happened regardless of shorter sessions or longer sessions (eg 20 min, 2 hours), even without other apps open, which throws off my momentum and turns me off from the app for the rest of the day.

I’m not going to lie, i’ve been bumming hardcore especially while i’m studying so when I saw this app I was iight let’s see. This app is amazing cause not only does it encourage you to do something within X amount of time you set it but it rewards you with coins which you can change avatar, or open chests to get rewards. A studying app that rewards you with meaningful prizes. What more can you ask

Love this app!!!
I love what Dante is doing with this app. He seamlessly integrates the two sides of work and play and turns doing something that may be mundane into something very fun to do. I like the fact that he turns work into a game, which makes it very easy to not lose focus and gives me the motivation to study more. Can't wait to see what Dante has to offer next.

An interactive pomodoro.
I have been using Forest as my pomodoro app for a long time and although one may feel like a timer is just a timer, the small feeling of reward and accomplishment that one gains from seeing their overall time of being focused is essential for long periods of focus. Forest... a tree is nice and all but I would rather see my own avatar grow as I work on my productivity.

The Best Pomodoro app out there
I used to use the forest app, flora, and about any other app I could use to try and get me to focus, but it didn’t work for extended periods of time. Luckily, I found FocusByte, and through the gamification of the pomodoro style, I’ve been able to improve my focus and become way more productive as a result. I’d recommend you take a look.
