I do not consent
This app now requires you to consent to have your personal information collected and sent to companies like Google and Facebook. In the consent window that pops up, they list an email address that you can message to opt-out... but you have to consent first. I looked on their website to find out why they need to collect this information... but they don’t have anything listed. If you don’t consent, you literally cannot even use the app. To me, that’s a pretty terrible customer service model. I’m deleting the app. Glad I paid them for it 🙄

Great idea; okay execution
Love the idea, but the small selection of templates, and the inability to create your own templates, limits the usefulness of this app.

Innovative, Clever, and FUN
Foldify is fun. Above all else, it's just pure fun. I salute the developers for doing something that wasn't a "me-too" app. This app and its output will delight millions of kids (of all ages). It's as close to magic as you'll get without being a magician. Think of it as customizable origami with built-in cut and fold lines!
What you have here is version 1.0 with a great idea and a solid foundation. You can come up with a list of things you wish it had, such as the ability to import your own images, the ability to fill specific areas at a touch, more "primitive" shapes, and so on. And I'm betting we'll see these things sooner rather than later. But what's already there in the initial release is the fun and the invitation to be crazy and creative (either or both, your choice). And the more of us who get on board NOW, the more likely we are to see this app get exciting new features.
I'll bet there isn't a kid out there who won't delight at seeing a flat piece of paper that can be turned into a bus, car, house, pyramid or other object that he/she personally decorated. And I'll bet there are very few adults out there who could make this happen without Foldify.
There are very few apps that have the potential this one does. Buy it.

Use card stock
Really fun app. One hint though - print on thick card stock, not paper. Paper is too flimsy and too hard to assemble because once you close the figure you have no back pressure to mate the tabs and the glue won't stick well. But if you use thick card stock and fold the last tabs to a 45 degree angle instead of 90, you can glue both edges and push everything together much better. The 45 degree angle and the fact that the card stock wants to rebound to that will create the back pressure you need.
Also it would be nice if you could download the online figures to the editor - there are many great online figures but you can't currently open them in the editor, if you want to make changes before printing.

Absolutely awesome - keeps me and the kids busy for hour
We've been playing with Foldify since launch, and my kids and I love it. They build tons of Minecraft-themed papercraft from it
Tons of great textures to apply to the "figures", and the gallery lets you see, and make, the stuff others are sharing.
If you want to print, you have to have either an airprint enabled printer (hey, that's an apple issue, not the app's fault) or you can export to a PDF. It's tricky though - in that if you just hit the Share button and send via email, it's going to send a 3D picture of the final product, not the actual folding pattern. To get that folding pattern, choose PRINT and then hit PDF and you can email a foldable PDF.

Awesome idea at the beginning stages
As an adult I'm having way too much fun with this app. The app needs a few things. A "bring forward, send backward" option really needs to be added in the next version. If you take time to layer stamps onto a background but then move the background - either purposely or accidentally, the background takes over the foreground and erases / removes anything that was layered on top of it - ultimately ruining what you just spent time on. The app also should have a snap-to feature to make alignment and sizing easier to match. And as already mentioned, the ability to import, scale and move photos would turn this into a #1 app with a cult-like following. Truly the first app in a long time that has made me actually want to print again. Great beginnings.

Overpriced at $2. Lacking critical features.
For this to be worth $2 it really needs the ability to do a couple of things. Without them, it seems like a kind of "wow that looks cool" app that translates into a "well, that was boring" kind of app after a few uses. Sorry, because the design looks nice.
1) SOME kind of brush diversity - the single thickness brush is WAY too limiting.
2) Some control over brush size besides zooming in on your art (which makes brush smaller relative to your workspace)
3) And this is CRITICAL to make this something I won't just delete from my iPad: some way to import your own images / textures from the camera or clipboard. I can't help but think you left this out in order to sell your "add on packs". I for one won't be spending $4 to get a few silly images of pants and other items. That is cheesy and greedy marketing.
4) Where is the text tool? No way to add type? Are you serious?
I hope there are updates in the works - this app is lackluster other than the 3D preview, which actually doesn't work very well since you can't do any vertical rotation (no way to see undersides or low-angle views of the models).

Nice App but needs More
I do enjoy this little App. its great for me to bring to a bunch of kids and have them choose the shapes they want and then print them out so they can have craft time. However one thing i think is missing is being able to save Some of the " Shared " creations on the Ipad. there are so many to look at and when you finally find one you like you can e-mail it to yourself to " Save " it, but when your not at a printed or your computer you are unable to to show that saved creation, you are forced to again go through all the listing in hopes of finding it again. All this needs is a way to Save the file locally on the ipad or make a favorites tabbed list so you can have faster access to the ones you like most.
