Description
|| Hari Om ||
In the fight against the pandemic, while many are safe indoors, thousands of professionals are actively serving the nation and humanity. Doctors, nurses, police, Central & State Government employees, ministries, departments & administrators, volunteers & municipal workers, farmers, traders, and even the rickshaw & thelawala who deliver food and necessary items have become the first line of defence for the society.
Despite heightened risk to their own health and safety, these superheroes are fighting two diverse battles: personally and professionally. While they are facing the external onslaught of the pandemic, they are also dealing with anxiety and loneliness if and when alienated from their community. These warriors work for the welfare of all humankind, and the future of humanity today depends upon their efforts and faithful commitment.
In gratitude and appreciation for their selfless service and sacrifice, the Bihar School of Yoga has launched the 'For Frontline Heroes' app to help these warriors through yoga asanas, pranayama and meditation to stay fit, active, and relax the mind and body in tough situations. This program of simple yoga practices is designed to help the frontline heroes manage the effects of the extreme conditions they face every day. Regular practice of yoga can help alleviate physical, mental, and emotional stress; and allow one to manage situations with a calmer, clearer, and positive mindset. These yoga practices are simple, can be done anywhere at any time, and do not require more than fifteen minutes.
With prayers of peace, health and prosperity,
Hari Om Tat Sat.
