What a super fun game!

Ok, I’m a big fan of Rusty Lake and since I’ve finished all of those, I am always on the hunt for games similar to them, which I have been unsuccessful so far until I played Forgotten Hill Mementos. Just when I thought I had finished the game and was thinking “that’s it?”, oh no, that wasn’t it and it continued on and continued to get even creepier and had a few jump scares that I wasn’t expecting. But if you are looking for a challenging room escape game with good puzzles that will make you almost pull your hair out, this is the game. I loved it and I’m ready to play the rest of the games in the series. Thank you to the developers for a fun game that is just as fun as Rusty Lake!

Love these

I’m a huge fan of the Forgotten Hill games and would recommend this to everyone who likes challenging and creepy puzzle games. One glitch I found though, I had just gotten a key to a cabinet but as I used it, I accidentally transferred to another room. I heard the sound of the door open but when I got back to check, it wasn’t and I didn’t have the key in my inventory anymore. So, be careful with that or you’ll have to reset the full thing. Still though, great game. I hope to play more of these.

Amazing job

Like other reviewers, I’m a huge RL fan and always looking for similar games. I’m also a fellow developer and a gamer in general (so I’ve played hundreds of games lol). This is one of the best point and click adventure series. They are good in all the ways RL was good but have a very unique story that is much darker. It immediately starts off with death if that puts things into perspective. I haven’t totally finished but I had to come here to leave this 5 star review because it’s just that good.

Similar to rusty lake

If you’re like me and are obsessed with the rusty lake style games, this is the series for you!! They have awesome puzzles, a connected plot line, and just enough creepiness to keep you on your toes and then some. The puzzles were difficult but not impossible, perfect for me since I find lots of puzzle games too predictable and easy. The only thing I would mention is that there are some minor spelling errors in the narration. Other than that, amazing! :)

Creepy And Fun

Creepy story, puzzles were challenging and fun. The Forgotten Hill series is obviously a labor of love and I can't wait for the next chapter.
Also, there are very few ads which is nice. Help out the developers with an in app purchase and show your support - I'm sure they would appreciate it.

So many ads

Yr character has to chop off a horse’s head. I kinda hated that.I don’t mind killing people in games but uh killing horses n dogs gives me the willies. All the dead stuff n body parts don’t bother me, of course- I know it’s a creepy game. Anyway also this game has Lots of ads. Lots. I wish I knew how the long game lasted bc I’d buy it if was long but some in this series are short. So idk. I like how it’s drawn n the mood of the game is great I just didnt like killing the horse.

Loved the game. But it has a bug that stops the game at crucial point.

I played 90% of the game but at last 2 step where the spider turns to monster or where the graveyard yield pumpkin. Both the time the page goes to home page and the game stops. So frustrating. I am not able to finish the game.

PS: I encourage all who play these to put up the $1.99. Not a lot of money for several hours of fun!

Ads, ads, and more ads

Could have been a good little game, but there’s no option to not have ads, and they’re constant. There’s a few good puzzles, didn’t run into any bugs...but those ads really wrecked it for me. Sorry, but there are a lot of great games out there, and I’m willing to pay for a good experience. The developers really made a bad decision turning it into nothing but a vehicle for ads.

There’s a bug!!!

This game is super fun and creepy! Recently every time I open the game the screen tries to load an ad but just goes black with the games audio still playing.
