The New Fortify
I have been using Fortify since February 2020. I have struggled with pornography addiction for more than 10 years, and I realized that I had basically given in. My “attempts” to quit were nothing more than telling myself “this is the last time” every time. I realized I needed to take real steps by changing behavior. Fortify provides excellent training and support, and adds an aspect of personal growth and challenge to what is otherwise a lonely and dark process. I could not recommend fortify more to anyone trying to quit porn, and frankly, the lessons that it teaches could easily apply to any addiction or problem you may face. Despite all that, I would only have given Fortify 4 stars before the last update. The intermediate and advanced lessons, community outreach, and advanced tracking data were all locked behind a paywall. With the new update, most of that is free, and the app is even more ergonomic and user friendly. I would give this app 10 stars if I could, and to anyone out there struggling, let me tell you this: the most important step a person takes is not the first or the last, but the next one. Everyone’s next step towards freedom should be downloading fortify.

Great app - could use a few improvements
I just downloaded the app yesterday and I think it’s great. However I noticed a few things that could be improved. When commenting in the Connection community, there’s no option to edit a post. You can only delete the post. I was in the middle of commenting on someone’s post and accidentally hit send before I was finished with my comment. I was unable to edit it. I would’ve had to delete the whole post and start over. And when commenting on a different post in a different section the keyboard wouldn’t move so I couldn’t see what I was typing and couldn’t send. I had to delete and redo my comment in order for the send button to show up again. Also, I would love to see the Daily Discussion be more of a daily thing. The same question is left up for days at a time. Maybe change it every day or every other day so it really is more of a daily discussion? It would be awesome to see a new question every day that we can discuss to stay on track. I go in every day hoping it’s a new one but so far in a week the question has only changed once and now it’s back to the question I started with. Other than these issues that could be improved I absolutely love the app and all the ways it offers individuals to engage with others to offer support and encouragement and thoughts as we seek to be free from pornography.

Fortify Review
Fortify is a good resource for positive, healthy, pure, freedom over what is wrong! I enjoy it I think you will enjoy parts too!
I liked a lot of there training despite looking for freedom for over a decade before realizing there was fortify. There was still plenty. Also I had ideas to secure my home base before but did a lot more. Kinda felt like they were giving me homework a lot of the time which I really like. I could have fun and be creative with it as well :).
I like its better way to track and learn from setbacks than on my own.
However my favorite thing is the webinars. I have a lot more I still need to watch they keep doing more. Though I am sure you could catch up and have to wait for new ones.
I like the training I got threw 100% to really get the point of it it actually took me a while longer than what they said it would take 12 weeks But I tend to take my time with things really trying to get the point of it so you may be able to do that and do it fast.
I am not promising you that you will find something powerful enough to free you without war courage and so much more. But fortify can definitely get you closer and maybe for you it will be the thing that work. The more you do the better in my mind. There is more I could do that I haven’t done. There is coaching there is groups.
Work hard, be brave, be healthy, love what’s right, and make it threw, win completely, oh and Good Luck, good fighting for what’s right.

Don’t turn the dark off, turn the light on
If you’re looking for a helpful digital place to battle the addiction, Fortify can be that for you. While it is not made to heal the deeper root for the addiction or serve as a substitute for in-person, authentic community, it certainly does help as a module for learning, a place to begin expressing your story, a way to exchange helpful tips for fighting, and an interactive utility to inform wiser decision making. Some key phrases (like the dark/light phrase) have stuck with me, several lessons have moved me, for many nights the online community was a blessing, and, for a stage in life, Fortify helped me greatly. You cannot remedy the need to heal the deeper root through an app, and you cannot exchange a digital community for an in-person community, however, all things considered, use Fortify if you’re seeking helpful steps to get out of the dark and into a life with greater light.

Not just a crutch
Addiction to porn isn’t necessarily frowned upon by today’s culture. In fact it’s mostly praised by Hollywood and mainstream entertainment because all they do is sell sex. But over my years of porn addiction it has brought nothing but pain and heartache. As much as I tried to quit in the past, before Fortify, I always fell again, and again, and again. My faith was wrecked. My marriage on its last leg. I knew I had to do something more.
My wife did some research all while looking for a counselor, and she found Fortify. The first 24 hours of my membership change my life.
Fortify is not just A weapon for those who long to not be ruled by this cruel, unrelenting addiction; it is the PERFECT weapon. It’s like bring a gun to a knife fight.
The community on Fortify is second to none, and there hasn’t been a single time I left the app feeling discouraged or hopeless.

Can’t backdate my streak
This app is really good, and I’d give it five stars except for one thing. I’m not able to backdate to the beginning of my streak. It says that “Victories and Setbacks can’t be recorded more than seven days before the day I opened the account”. Unfortunately, I found this app about two and a half weeks after I quit, so all of my coins, badges and streak data are inaccurate. It shouldn’t be such a big deal, but it is something I’ve worked hard for and I’d like credit where it is due.
Other than what I mentioned above, the app is great. The information is easily digestible and engaging. The menues have a lot of information and are easily navigable.
*Update* it turns out this app also has good “Customer Support” as well as options. I asked how to fix the problem I addressed in the first paragraph and I got a reply the next day telling me how to fixed my start date. I’m now giving this app a 5 star rating.

actually perfect
I never write reviews on apps, no matter how good or bad they are because none really give me a reason to. but this app is actually perfect. so much so that I was compelled to write a review on an app for the first time ever. huge thanks to the creators and developers of this app. these people genuinely care about others wellbeing. it’s not some money grab- false promise app, it’s real and it’s 100% worth it. of course it’s not a quick fix for addiction, but it offers so many insightful and valuable lessons to take away from, even if you don’t have an addiction this app works amazing for mental health in general. This app also has many everyday activities and checklists to keep yourself engaged, motivated, and in the right track. there’s so many pros to this app that it’s insane. also love how it’s for ALL users, even younger and older ones. perfect app :)

Thank You to the person who saved me
I was addicted to porn my entire adult life and since I was a teen. I am now porn free for over 3 months and counting. My life has changed, I am more confident, I speak to people more freely without feeling guilty. I have more free conversations with women. I respect them more and see a future where I have a nurturing relationship their parents would approve of. I am in awe of how this app has saved me when nothing else could. I had some very bad days but because of the support I received from a kind person on this app I got through them. She gave me the strength to carry on. To everyone that reads this - good luck to you. Keep logging in how you’re doing day to day. We are all fallible but if something is worth it we will find a way. It gets easier. You can do it.

Definitely worth the download
I recently got this app, but I’ve been trying to find ways to track my purity streak for years. My previous methods have all been very difficult to clearly see my progress, which is one of the things I love about this app. I’ve struggled with porn for 7/8 years, but this app has taken me to a new level of recovery. I’m able to clearly see my monthly progress with percentages & easy comparisons to previous months. I’m also able to see how long my current streak is and how long my longest streak was. It’s very motivational for me. There’s also a whole community aspect to the app, which I have yet to explore. All in all, I’m very pleased with Fortify and definitely recommend it to anyone struggling with overcoming pornography addictions :)

Great app with some bugs
I just bought the fortify monthly membership and I’m already a fan! Great UI and many ways to engage with the app. The login process is a bit annoying needing to log in each time you open the app as well as I am never able to get the daily tracker to load and I always forget to track the day of (it’s easier to track the next day because problems usually arise at night for me) so there’s no way to go back and track my progress. That’s the MAIN reason I got the app so it’s frustrating that that feature doesn’t work. I may get rid of my subscription if this continues to be an issue. I do think the message boards and daily discussion are great but could have more rules around trigger words like P and M. I think this app has great potential and look forward to see its development.
