Forward is an online community where you gather donations for your favorite charity by giving stuff away.
# Don't throw out that old sofa.
You replaced your old sofa, gave up on playing the guitar a long time ago, and your kids have grown out of their toys. These things now gather dust on the attic or in the basement.
Once in a while, you do a big cleanup, and you consider putting the items up for sale, but you end up throwing everything out.
However, there is a better way.
# Introducing Forward.
You don't need to throw away your good, old items anymore. With Forward, you can easily give them away. The people receiving them will donate a small amount of money to a charity of your choice.
To get started, all you have to do is take a picture of the item you would like to give away, put a price on it, and pick a charity from the list.
You can get rid of your stuff, people get things in good condition that are almost free, and charity organizations get extra help. Everybody wins!

This one is a big one!
You are now able to post a donation without setting a price on it up front ... people will then bid on it. So if you want to give away items for free it's fine and you can approve any bid without donating to charity. However if you would like to post a donation and see a big donation going towards your favorite charity, people are now able to do so too.
It's best of two worlds and we invite you to try it out now by posting some great stuff on Forward.

This version include a really nice signup page. Previously we focused a lot on Facebook signup but acknowledged some people did not want or have a Facebook account. So we added a signup page for you to signup with an email and password. Try it out if you don't have a Facebook account.

It is now possible to block users if you do not want to see this users donation or comments anymore. Furthermore we made it possible to report both users and donations if you want us to take a look at those, if you think they might breach with our EULA.

With this release we have completely redesigned the flow for users not signing in with Facebook. As a non-signed in user you are now able to browse all donations in your area, open a donation and see details about it. Download donation picture and share it with friends. It's furthermore possible to access Settings and invite your friends to use Forward or write a mail to use. All without requiring Facebook signup.
Besides that we added support for fetching logo and description for charities we are working with and sorting charities based on your association with a charity. It's awesome! :)

Didn't you find that donation you were looking for? With this update you'll be able to add it to your wish list and whenever a matching donation is added, you will be notified instantly.
Try it out by searching for a donation by pressing the search icon in top left of screen and entering your search terms. Then tap "Add to wish list" if nothing was found.

We added a small "eye" next to a charity when you are about to submit your donation. Tapping this eye will display a short description for this charity.
Also it's now possible to enter an invitation code if you have been invited to use Forward from your favorite charity. Entering this code will allow you to donate to it without the need for a charity to be available in your specific area. It's a great chance to get in touch with your favorite charity and ask them to promote Forward and spread the use of it.
