The "no look" joystick allows you to look at the camera image while positioning the camera instead of needing to look at some tiny arrow buttons. Simple tap and hold anywhere near the joystick. The joystick will center on your finger. Then just drag in the direction you want to go.
Push to talk makes talking through your camera easy. Simply hold the microphone button to talk and release to stop.
Take pictures and videos with ease. Videos and images are captured instantly without interference, popups, or waiting. Images and videos are sent directly to your camera roll. You can email or upload them to YouTube from there.
Fast, easy setup: Most people with multiple cameras have them setup with similar network settings, often only the port number is different. With Foscam Pro’s duplicate feature, setting up multiple cameras takes only a few seconds. Username and passwords can now be set up as defaults for new cameras.
Setting up the same cameras on multiple devices? Foscam Pro allows you to e-mail your camera settings to yourself, coworkers, family or friends. Passwords are no longer included in the configuration file.

-Changed bandwidth saver settings. All preset modes use 640x480 and only change the FPS. Custom modes can still be used to change the resolution. Had to do this because not everyone read the pop-up messages explaining the bandwidth saver and some thought the app was causing their resolution to be low. It was. -Bandwidth saver off mode now doesn’t set any any resolution or fps settings. Previously it was forcing max framerate and max resolution. If another user changes the resolution, it will change for you too.

Sorry for the continued problems and thank you for your patience in sticking with us while we get the problems resolved. Currently there is a problem where the app will not connect to cameras that don't respond within the app's current timeouts. An update has been submitted to Apple, and we hope it is approved soon.

READ: There is a bug in the current update where your camera may show connected but with a gray screen. As a temporary fix, go to the app settings and turn on low, medium or high bandwidth saver mode. We will fix the bug soon.

-Added ability to background the audio. Just press the home button while listening to audio. This pauses the video stream and saves tons of bandwidth, running at about 17 megabytes per hour.

-Added better error messages.
-Prevented crash when connected to something other than camera.
We added "In App" motion detection while viewing single cameras.
Also added "In App" face detection (for iOS 5.0 and above).
With both the in-app motion and face detection, you can set it to sound an alarm, take a picture, take a 10 second video, or take a 60 second video.
Just for fun we added a motion or face following feature for cameras with Pan and Tilt capability. We recommend using this feature with your pan and tilt speed set to less than half of full speed. When something is moving in front of the camera, the camera will attempt to center on it.

-Added ability to use preset positions, just press the location (preset) icon. Tap to go, Hold to set. (like car radio presets).

The best Foscam App... BUT...
I recently upgraded from some older 89-series VGA 640x480 Foscams and had been using this app to monitor my property remotely while at work. Excellent! The 8 pics filled up my iPhone 5s and 6's screens perfectly.
So I upgraded the cameras to the FI9826 models, which are capable of 720p and 960p. Since 960p is the same ratio at 640x480 of my old ones, I figured it would fit the screens the same way and set them all for 960p defaults.
Nope! It defaults in my phone to 720p, leaving ugly borders on the top and bottom of the individual screens, despite my defaults on the cameras themselves (set on my desktop) at 960p. It'll even change the image on my desktop to 720p while I have the app open, then switches back to 960p when I close the iPhone app. Unfortunately there's no setting in the iPhone app that I can find to force adherence to 960p.
So... If you can add that setting, or if I'm just missing it let me know lol, then I will have nothing to complain about. I realize this is borderline OCD but for $170 a piece I better be getting the 960p ratio because that's why I bought them!

Thanks for the best surveillance app
I had some problems when I got the Foscam 9821, my second camera. I was really pleased to see the improvements after you updated your app. I thought it was the camera causing the problems. I was even thinking of getting another older model. Nothing was working right. Now, everything is perfect again. This was truly a pleasant surprise. What a difference good software makes. Thanks for continuing to make your product the best. 6/3/20 thank you whoever is responsible for putting this app back in the App Store. After I got a new iPad, I couldn’t download this even after contacting Apple support. I knew it worked with the current iOS. I tried unsuccessfully to get it back, but it wouldn’t let me. I love this useful app and use it all the time.

Not good.
This app will not set up Foscam, FI9831P cameras via P2P, so I went through the process of setting up port-forwarding. I got four cameras successfully connected. Although I have a good, reliable high-speed internet connection on both ends, viewing my cameras remotely is lacking in video quality. The video is erratic and unstable. While watching the onscreen camera clocks, the seconds continuously jump around, missing a few seconds here and there. I tried adjusting to the lowest quality, and the video is still erratic. I've come to the conclusion that the problem is within this app. I have smooth, fluent video if I use the old Foscam app. This app occasionally has problems connecting too. In order to reconnect to your cameras, sometimes you will need to completely close this app and try again, in order to connect. I like the user interface on this app much better than Foscam's, but it's of no use to me with such erratic video. I'm disappointed, because I really wanted a better alternative to the old Foscam app, since they don't support it anymore. Unfortunately, this app is not a reliable alternative for me. The newest Foscam app is no better, so hopefully someone will develop a reliable app in the near future, or make improvements to this one.

1000x Better Than Foscam's Cam App
Foscam is starting to force users of their cam app to 'upgrade' to their newer app version which is less dependable than their old app and often crashes. So I went searching for a dependable solution for our baby cam monitoring and found this app. So far the positive reviews are correct and this is the app to use if you have a Foscam camera and need a dependable way to monitor your cam(s). I like the pinch to zoom functionality since my cam doesn't have a native zooming function. The audio levels seem to be boosted slightly more than Foscam's app. My favorite feature is the option to maintain the audio of the cam even while the app is inactive/minimized, which is extremely helpful if you have a baby to monitor and watch over but need to multitask on rare occasions. A++ for this app.

Messes up your HD camera’s video resolution settings
For one reason or another the developer(s) are MIA with this app. The video resolution settings on this app DO NOT apply to the Foscam HD series cameras but ONLY to the MPEG 89XX series. This issue causes the app to change my HD camera’s (Foscam R2) resolution settings temporarily which then also causes the camera to refocus/refresh the image completely every time I open the app and then again if I click on the thumbnail to make the picture bigger. I have tested this passionately as I thought I was going crazy seeing the global video resolution settings on the camera change itself. It literally changes the global video resolution settings temporarily on the camera itself if and while the app is actively open. Once for the thumbnail screen in VGA resolution and again if you click on the thumbnail image to 720p even though I have the global video resolution settings on the camera itself set to 1080p. The moment I close the app, the camera’s global video resolution settings go back to 1080p as it should be. What the heck?!?!?! Please fix!!!

The App makes the camera better!
It would be great if the makers of the camera would make things as simple as the setup steps in this app. The camera setup couldn't be lore frustrating. When I found this app, I came to appreciate the use of the camera even more. I use it to keep an eye on our dog when we're not home. I love the motion detection feature that gives me a heads up when she is prowling around the house. It's even better as a security tool for both motion and sound detection when the house is completely empty. I get an immediate email showing a phot of the room at the time of detection. The two way audio works great too for me to speak to my dog through the camera.

This is THE app to get for your Foscam Camera!
‘Foscam Pro: Multi IP Camera Viewer’ is a superbly well designed app! It works flawlessly with my Foscam Fl9821P V2 camera! It allows the user to add both local and remote network access paths, and it automatically tries the local access first before going to remote access (it all happens very quickly). That is EXACTLY how it should work so you save on bandwidth by using local access whenever possible. Image quality is excellent and the controls all work as they should. No concerns with delays or other anomalies.

Was so excited to stumble upon this app! I have 3 C1 Cameras for my in-home daycare business. Downloaded the original app meant for these cameras and it worked fine. I had wished I could view multiple cameras at one time but was not able to do so. This app is awesome and has enabled me to view all cameras on one device instead of multiple devices with one view. A little tricky at first to set up put instructions within the app are quite clear and helped me set it up correctly. Love how easy it is to copy the cameras to another device. Thank you so much for this very reasonable app!!

Been using the app for about a year. If I ever hit a bump in the road - and I have - the support has been unparalleled. Quick responses, dedicated effort until the issue is resolved. Ever going to be updated again?
This is absolutely the only app I found that would provide audio through my Foscam cameras at a volume I could actually hear. Well worth the price for that one feature. Have been using it for a couple years for that reason.
However, it makes the recording quality low res since it forces the resolution low in mosaic view. I need this to maintain HD resolution (1080p) in all viewing modes. My new cameras are full HD, and this app makes the recordings too low res.
Every other app is missing features this one has.
