Foundations Memory Work C3 Hack 4.00 + Redeem Codes

The app is great but there are a few improvements that should be made. I would love to be able to set parental settings so my child doesn’t skip ahead the weeks. He likes to scroll them in the car and then recites them in CC class. The tutor prefers he not learn the material for future weeks ahead of time. It’s hard to control him from learning when I’m driving and he’s got the iPad in the back. I know right? What a wonderful problem to have... I can’t stop my kid from learning ahead, ha! First world problems, but still.

Also, it would be nice to have the timeline song and maybe even a study tracker...something that parents could use to track what days we went over material or see how many times we looked at one subject vs. others. Something to track and analyze CC study habits. Other apps do this already, it shouldn’t be difficult to add to this app.

I also liked the other reviewers idea of adding games or quizzes to test the knowledge. That would be wonderful!

Thank you to the developers at CC for making this app. It’s great! Yes, it’s pricey but you’re paying for the work it took to make this and for making life easier to teach with this app. Though I wish there was a discount for having bought all 3 apps. :)

I purchased this app recently and I think it was very well done! The graphics are amazing and the layout is user friendly. I think the purpose of this app is for the kids to be able to review their memory work independently, which it does accomplish this. We are very happy with this purchase. My son says it is "awesome," so that makes me very happy. I don't know if this is true, but I think it may be more on the pricey side because of all the copyrighted material it contains. The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I think it would be neat if it included little games or "tests" that the kids could use to make a challenge for them. Otherwise, the app is another way for us to enjoy CC and reinforce what they are learning.

PLEASE, give this app the ability to slide forward or backward through a song when reviewing memory work. I know this has been asked for since the first release of this app (all cycles). This is IMPERATIVE to memory work, both in the class and at home.

We also ask for you to include the timeline SONG in its entirety with the same slide navigation ability. It’s included when you buy the CD’s, but not the app. That is not logical. With so many of us on our phones today as we travel, sit in drs appts or other waiting rooms, etc, it would give the parents and students greater access to the whole content when they need it most.

All the foundations information is there and a little bit more (or less) depending on how you look at it. I bought this over the Audio CDs for few reasons:
1)because it's more mobile,
2) it has visuals for my kids, and
3) I thought it would have all the information the Audio CDs did.

I LOVE the science snippets to give a little more info on the answer to the science question. The history highlights are so great, giving good background history and extending the information. I also love the visuals that go with each slide, it helps a ton to keep my kids interested.

With that said there could be some improvements in my opinion. I find it's lacking these two items.
-the timeline song
-the states and capitols song.

This app sounds great in the description. However, when you actually get into the app it turns out to be a set of glorified flash cards. They don’t give you the ability to drill down for additional information on anything. The Foundations songs are not included and it’s only a narrator telling you what to know. There are no “week-at-a-glance” sections so you don’t know what will be covered until you get into the app and start using it.

As much as I hate to admit this, the $100 curriculum is better suited to homeschooling parents who want information on what to help their child with. Even though the curriculum leaves a great deal to be desired, at least you know what to expect from week to week. Though more detail/guidance is always better.

Wish I could get a refund!!

I love the CC curriculum and especially the awesome community. I finally caved and got this app one day when we had a million errands and needed to do some kind of "school" for the day. It is seriously the most money I have ever spent on an app. Why must everything connected with this company be so ridiculously expensive??? Some of us struggle to be able to afford to do this with our kids. I'm very disappointed at what I get for $16. I thought there would be much more than just a review I have to flip through. And to top it off I have to drop another $32 to get the other cycles???? It seems greedy. Offer more or lower the price.

Happy to have it, but for the price I really wish it had the timeline song and the president song. A few others would be great as well. I love using this in the car with the kids and being able to do it by week... But those are just as important.

I like the idea of adding quizzes to it, that would be amazing!

I don’t know why there’s some bad reviews, this is so great to have in hand! I’m a tutor and use it both in class and at home with my own kids. It’s nice to have on hand to pull out at home, the doctor office, the car, airplane, etc. We love it!

Downloaded this app and paid the $16 for it. Even though I have a fairly new phone it would not correctly rotate the screen in the app, messed up my ability to leave the app, disrupted up screen rotation for my phone overall, and did not have the timeline song. I think it had only songs for regular history work. I’d had been better off paying for CC connected subscription. I would like to delete and get a refund.

Fifteen dollars?!?! I assumed I was getting something more than the exact content on the cd set I already own. Please update this app to have a test/quiz option, all of the songs, etc. The only reason I bought this was to help my kids with Memory Master prep but this literally just gives them the answers. There is no way to even use it to test their memory. Very, very, very annoyed that I just spent $15 dollars on this. I should have read the reviews first.
