A new series of augmented paintings are up at the James Nomad New York Hotel! Use the app to view the recently commissioned paintings in the lobby windows from the sidewalk. This app extends the surface of the image from the glass into the street with spatial painting and animations. This group of paintings won't last long. Paintings, Narcissus and Circe are currently on display using this AR app to view layers paint, animation, audio and sculpture embedded within the surfaces.

Fragale App is currently featuring two collaborative works with Alan Michelson for his show, Wolf Nation at The Whitney Museum of American Art in New York City.

Sapponckanikan (Tobacco Field), an interactive, site-specific augmented reality installation in the lobby, recalls and honors the Lenape and their tobacco field.

On floor five, Town Destroyer is an augmented reality installation addressing the Sullivan Expedition, George Washington’s scorched-earth campaign against the Haudenosaunee (Iroquois Confederacy of Mohawk, Oneida, Onondaga, Cayuga, Seneca, and Tuscarora Nations). When activated through the app, a bust of Washington, represented on a frieze of scenic wallpaper in the interior of his Northern Virginia estate, Mount Vernon, becomes a screen onto which a challenging history unfolds.

Fragale App is now featuring two collaborative augmented reality works with artist, Alan Michelson for the exhibition, Wolf Nation at The Whitney Museum in NYC. Sapponckanikan, a gps located digital installation is now activated in the lobby. To view, download the application, accept camera and location permissions. This will allow your position in the museum to activate the scene around you. Press play. On the 5th floor, Town Destroyer, a 4' x 18' wallpaper contains augmented reality video and spatial audio that emerges from the bust of George Washington. Spatial audio begins 60 sec in. Please have your ringer on or the audio will not play.
