Love the linguistic approach
Having the schematic of the mouth placement for each sound, accompanied by the reader speaking a list of several words with that sound in it is genius.

Pronunciation not always accurate - still worth it
The pronunciation on this is not quite accurate. The letter ‘r’ in IPA is wrongly written as [r], but he French ‘r’ is not pronounced as [r] nor as in Spanish nor as [ɹ] as in English, it should be [ʁ], which is a little like a throat gargle. Keep that in mind. Sometimes the [ɑ] is wrongly pronounced [a] in the words. There are other issues. I recommend getting the Interactive IPA app to sort these thing out. If you’re just trying to learn French, this is a good start, but if you want very precise pronunciation, get an IPA app to go along with this and also look up Foreign Service French Phonology, which teaches very precise pronunciation.I still think it’s worth buying.

Good for checking sounds
This looks like the only app of its kind so I’ll give it five stars for that. It would be more helpful if we could only hear the sound without getting the full list of words and having to go back to the other screen to be able to hear another sound.

Major issue on iPhone X
There is a major issue with IPhone X. Once you click on a letter you can’t get back to the list because the back button is behind the iOS clock. You have to completely close the app and reopen it to go to a different letter.

It seems to be a cool app, but it is not working on mi iPhone XS. When I tap the arrow on the left upper corner to go back, it doesn’t work.

I was unable to use this app, which is itself very limited due to the inability to actually type in words, because it forces you to write a review. I was unable to take more than 4-5 actions in the app without being re-prompted to write a review on iTunes. So here I am.
