Thank you for updating FreshGrade for Teachers. We are excited to bring you a major update to FreshGrade for iOS.
We’ve added Gradebook to our FreshGrade for Teachers iPad App so you can now create activities, assess students, and capture evidence on the go.
You can now upload photos, videos, and documents directly to activities from your iPad, iPhone, or iPod Touch. This will vastly reduce the workload for teachers!
All iOS versions now include access to activities, custom assessment tools, weighted grades, and an all new file upload manager.

All iOS Versions
Activities:
• Edit, delete, copy, or share activities
• Provide extended documentation including artifacts, impressions, and comments
• See how many views your activity has received, excuse a student, mark an activity incomplete, and delete assignments from any iOS device
Custom assessment tools:
• View a list of assessment tools from class settings, choosing from a pre-populated list of six different assessment options
• Create custom assessment tools from any iOS device
• Provide up to ten mark levels, consisting of an icon, name, color, and score
• Grade assessments using a set of icons, instead of a mastery scale slider
Weighted Grades:
• View and manage a list of categories from class settings, creating up to 20 categories per class
• Provide a name and weight for each category
• Set a new max score for an activity from the Gradebook
File Upload Manager Improvements:
• We’ve resolved many file upload issues!
• View a list of active uploads from account settings, resend a failed upload, or cancel an upload
iPad Only
In addition to all the great features above, we’ve launched Gradebook on the iPad!
Now teachers can:
• Provide assessment directly via Gradebook
• Choose an icon for the mastery scale or a number for score, jump directly to activity documentation to add comments, cycle through tagged students, and provide assessments while offline
• Create activities directly from the Gradebook
• Provide a title, due date, description. Select a category, add resources (photo, video, audio, link), select assessment tool, add objectives, and tag students
• Plus, once you’ve created the activity, you can now change the maximum score right from the Gradebook.
