FROtorial- Hair tips & supply Hack 2.0.13 + Redeem Codes

When I tell you that this app is one of the best apps out there, I’m not joking. The community is so supportive, kind and helpful. Everyone is wonderful to each other and care about your hair journey and if you’re taking care of you hair in general. Do you know how many black women I have called sister and felt like family no matter what age? This is a wonderful app and I’m thankful for it. If I could get it 10 stars, I would, but 5 is the maximum. Only thing I would update is the fact that when you mention someone or you get mention, it doesn’t show up in the “activity” page or notification section. I would have to look back at post if I thought about only to see that someone responded to what I said. Besides that, I have no other problem with it.

I love the concept of this app. I’ve had it downloaded for a while now and I like the new updates, however:

1.) Sometimes when I comment on a post my comment doesn’t show up at all, like I never commented in the first place.

2.) There should be a way to delete “Track your progress” pictures that you’ve posted. There was but it’s gone now.

3.) There should be a block button. Not everyone is nice in real life or this app.

4.) You should be able to unlike a post or picture just like how you can like a picture. I’ve been scrolling on this app and accidentally liked posts before and there should be a way to unlike.

5.) When I click on the activity part of the bottom tab, sometimes it shows the recent activity I’ve gotten but overlapped. It overlaps to where if someone liked my post and I scroll up, their name will b dragged in the direction I scroll.

6.) The new hair salon update should let you sign up different places without having to actually own the salon. If I wanted to sign up the salon down the street from my house, there should be a way for me to do that.

7.) There aren’t any notifications. I can’t get any notifications on my phone for this app even though they’re turned on.

8.) You should be able to tag multiple people and different hair products in a comment.

I love this app so much! Anybody out there with natural hair this is the app for you. Everyone on here is loving, caring, supportive, and want to help you on your hair journey. I haven’t had this app for very long and I have already learned so much! If you’re an expert or just need some tips you will fall in love with this app! I have no complaints only great things come from this app, so if you’re still reading this review.... just GET the app. You’ll never regret it. 😁😁😁😁😁

Here are my issues with it

1. When adding tags for the products you used in your hair, you can only chose from a select few products that the app has links to purchase from. Every product I use, the app doesn’t have a tag for, and they don’t allow the account holder to create a new tag for it.

2. Same goes for adding tags for hairstyles. There are more than just 30 hairstyles in the world.... can’t make your own tag.

2. When searching a tag, for example “3b hair”, the app shows you results for anyone with that tag and any others they included. Most people I see on this app post a picture and include almost all of the tags so that its seen no matter what tag is searched. So when I want to find pictures from users who also have 3b hair, I cannot. Because I am bombarded with every single person who posts a picture and inclusdes that tag in their post even if it has nothing to do with 3b hair. There should be a search option where only photos/posts from people who specifically used only the tags you searched for and no others show up.

That’s all I noticed so far, its too annoying to want to use because of this. So I’ll try again in 6 months, then a year to check for improvements.

I liked this app and wanted to do something big to get people involved. After I started posting it started to get bugs. Everytime I would open the app it would show no posts yet when I know I've posted. Every different tab I would hit it kept showing no post yet. I figured I'd give it a day or two but that didn't work either, so I decided to delete the app and redownload it. MISTAAAKE!

Now I cannot access my old profile. It asks me for the email but I never remember giving an email, sometimes I forget though so I put in one of the only two emails I use and it said that wasn't an email used. GREAT! Thanks means it has to be the other email address. Nope! Wrong that one wasn't used either. Now I have no way to log back on, or save my profile.

This is a great app for naturals. This definitely helped me bc I was a beginner with no direction oh how to do my hair. With this app you get help from people who are experienced with hair and have the same type curl pattern and density as you. You can also get advice on different products that you use. So I would definitely get this app if you are natural!!

I had been using this app for over a year and it was great, even though it glitched occasionally. Recently it has been glitching a lot (ex not loading posts or receiving notifications for likes that aren’t even there?). I was locked out of my account about a week ago; I can see my profile and page and still receive notifications about likes, but when I open the app everything is blank or says null. I emailed and never got a response back. I deleted the app and tried to sign it but that did not work and I never received a forgotten password email back. Everytime I try to make an account it gives a frustrating 404 error message.

I love this app and the concept is nice but it would be great if videos could actually be viewed and it wouldn’t take forever for it to save. When I try to upload a video it doesn’t really show and it takes sometimes up to 30 minutes to upload. But besides that everything is perfect and the people in there are very friendly and help out a lot with new naturals

This is a very good app. I’m so happy I’m able to communicate with other naturals. Of course the app needs some improvement. Every once in a while it crashes which is understandable because this is a pretty new app. Also the layout is a little messy but I’m pretty sure you guys will improve with more updates. I hope this app gets as much recognition as it deserves. Good luck! Looking forward to the success!

Great App. I was so glad to be able to search the App Store for a natural hair app and for this to come up

A few things I'd like to point:
- the app crashes a lot, but I assume this will be improved with time.
- when someone interacts with a comment I have made, I am unable to return to that comment or the post with which I had originally commented on.
- the home page repeats my actions throughout the page.
- I wish there were more options on "add" such as general posts etc.
- is it possible to have a plaque for total views on posts?i think that this would encourage more curl friends
- there are also bugs when it comes to sharing posts
- option to share other people's posts
