A game to help pass the time
This is my go to game for when I need to pass the time. When sitting in a waiting room, waiting for my wife to finish getting around or any time I just need to pass the time, this game is the most interesting and quick to play or pause until I have the time to finish it later. I’ve played this game for many years and have no interest in ever stopping. I can adjust the settings to suit my style of play and set it to the type of game I am most interested in playing. Along with choosing my favorite game I am also allowed to adjust the settings within that game to suit my taste. I simply totally rely on this game to be there when ever I need it and that is at least once every day.

Changing a Former Positive Review
I don’t understand. Why has no representative of this company responded to my negative review as other developers have when there were problems with their products? What became of the daily challenges I used to have? Also, several of the games cause this app to crash, rendering it unplayable, AND I PAID FOR THIS APP, so it was NOT free to me. I’ve maintained updates. I once rated this game at the highest level but have now changed to a negative review. So disappointed and want to hear from someone with this company.
UPDATE: I finally did get a response to my rating. It was as unsatisfying as the app itself. After reading the developers response, I recalled that I have communicated with them before. The only reason I can recall that was because I remember they excused themselves from any significant responsibility because they are “a small family company.” If you have to keep telling your paying customers that you are only “a family company,” then maybe you should not be in the development business to begin with. I’m not a fan of excuses, and every time I see them tell me they are only “a family company,” I am reminded that is just an excuse.

UGH Opens to Texas Hold ‘Em as default
This app continues to open to Texas Hold ‘Em EVERY SINGLE TIME no matter what solitaire game I was playing the last time I used the app. It then locks the rotation for every other game I prefer to play. Please fix this glitch! I prefer to choose the games I want to play, and Hold ‘Em is never the game I want to play first. With so many solitaire games to choose from, why would GRL think this is a good idea, especially locking rotation (usually in landscape due to Hold ‘Em)? It makes it difficult to see all the cards in other solitaire games if a row gets long. This same bug is on my iPhone and my iPad, both of which are running the current software IOS 16.6. Also, Pyramid (regular version, not golf version), WILL NOT PLAY AT ALL. In fact, it instead causes the app to close entirely. I hope you can repair these glitches soon, as I love your app and this is so frustrating. Thanks in advance if you can make the repairs or tell me how to do it. Once fixed, I’ll update my rating to 5 stars again!!! I love this app, and look forward to being able to play all the games (and NOT seeing a wonky Texas Hold ‘Em when ai open the app)!

I’ve played Full Deck Solitaire for some years and paid for extra game packs; I have enjoyed it. However, for years, I’ve contacted the game’s makers about a solitaire game I enjoy called Pyramid. Their design of Pyramid will not let you lose! That’s a huge ego-booster but the game doesn’t use standard rules of play. They have NEVER responded to my queries or concerns. Quite frankly, it’s no fun to play a game when you know what the final result will be – you win again! Normally you’re lucky to win and 1 of 20 attempts in standard Pyramid that follows the true rules of the game. The least they could do is let you know theirs is a rigged version. Specifically the game will declare you a “winner” before you have cleared the board of all cards. Another is that it lets you pair with a card underneath the top card. Both are not allowed in official version. Apparently “mother and daughter team” don’t care. To be fair, most of the games I’ve played with Full Deck Solitaire conform to official card rules.

The latest issue is the pop up for Dragonvale, which comes after each played game. It freezes my iPad and I have to exit app to get it off. While the games are great and I enjoy playing with as my morning wake up, it isn't worth it. And the lack of response from the game team is frustrating and unprofessional. I have never had an update for this app either.
I also have major issues with the latest upgrade! Menu takes longer to get to the game of choice when you do find it you tap it then tap again to play. Stats don't need to be on this page, we don't want or need to see them each time we play, for those who choose to, they could see them from menu pg before w one tap. Speed of play is so much slower also, having to tap the same card two and three times to get a move, this affects scores as well!
I have emailed the game folks two times with these issues with no response. It's as frustrating to get a response from them as it is to play the game at this point.

Change the ads please
Update. I see that not only did I get no response to my complaint, but the ads are even worse than before. Absolutely disgusting ads! So extremely offensive! Who in their right mind would want these games!! I am deleting because of the ads alone. There are other card games I can play without subjecting myself to your filthy ads!!! Previous review:At least give me the option of watching a different ad. I like the game but I find the ads offensive at times and I may delete for that reason alone. We live in such a cruel world, reality is depressing and these ads for these violent games are disturbing. Why should I subject myself to them? It's your choice, allow me to discontinue offensive ads or I will be deleting this game.

Game keeps crashing
Reinstalled this game on new iPad after my old one went belly up.
I bought the game originally so I could play without ads.
The reinstalled game had ads so I hit restore purchases under options. That worked , but then it keep stalling. I tried several times to delete the game and download it again, but game still crashed. Finally I decided to buy the game again, but even after the purchase, the game crashed. I have played FullDeck Solitaire for years and it has been a great way to exercise my mind, so I’m disappointed that it no longer seems to work .

Latest version missing hints and undo in landscape mode
Update: Thanks to a quick response with a fixed update I can enjoy this app again in landscape mode! I still don't see a "scaling option" but the undo and hints are back, so updating my review.
Previous: Used this for years, but the latest update 1.105 / March 2021 is hideous and is broken in landscape mode. I can see hints in portrait mode, but I'm on an ipad which has a keyboard so is always in landscape mode. Undo button also missing in landscape but there in portrait. If it will only work right in portrait I will be deleting. Please FIX!! The description says there are multiple layouts for landscape mode but I don't see that option at all either.

Update is choppy
I play a lot of 40 thieves while waiting at appointments, during school pickup, when I'm anxious. Anyway, the update to be compatible with iOS 11, is a little off on my iPhone. Tapping a card is sometimes too fast and I have to undo. When I use auto to move an ace to the top, it goes to the right now (I have my deck set for the right also). Even the direction the phone must be turned is different than before. Perhaps it could change depending on which way the phone is held regardless of rotation being on or off in the phone settings.

Crashes upon opening...and again
I have had this game pack for years. Lately it crashes upon opening at least 20 times. I have asked for a solution from the ladies and hope they have one. Usually they get back to me in a week. These games are favorites when I have the time.
Still happening 3 days after complaint.
You seemed to have fixed the crashing problems. The support team responded quickly to each of my complaints. Its a 5 * rating again.
The Challenges are now different everyday since crash was repaired. I hope it continues. Thank you, Ladies.
