This update brings an overhaul to the look of our on-campus and off-campus tours as well as adding a tonne of new features and bug fixes across the board.
Don’t feel like walking? You can now access off-campus tours while on campus. Off-campus tours have a new menu allowing you to skip stops or swipe between them, and each tour stop has a new look and lots to explore. On-campus tours have been revitalized to improve navigation and usability. We’ve also worked a lot to stabilize the app; simplify requesting schools and improve accessibility features.

Not great
We took the UC Santa Cruz self guided walking tour. The app had us walking in circles, called all the service roads ‘paths’ and led us to the service entrance/garbage area for every building, not putting the campus’ best foot forward, map visuals do not orient to user

So helpful!
Finally a virtual campus tour that’s not boring! It’s cool to hear from actual students at the school without having to be on campus. The pandemic has made it hard to visit schools in-person and this app is as close as you can get. Many of the schools I’m considering are listed so I’ve spent lots of time exploring each.

I’m sure it’s a good app, problem is I showed up for my self-guided tour and it wouldn’t open. When it finally did open it crashed my whole phone. Could just be a fluke but it was very frusterating 🤷♀️
