Great but a very annoying problem currently
One of the easiest ways to connect with new musicians so far that doesn’t require you to purchase anything. It’s very user friendly and easy to figure out. The conversation screen will stay available even after hours of having exited the app, without the app refreshing. Although, often messages say they are sent but later show that they never did and you can’t recover your original message. You then have to restart your message from scratch. It can do this a number of times before your message finally goes through and you don’t know your message has gone until you exit out and go back into the conversation.

Out of all the musician apps I’ve downloaded this one was my favorite.
This app is very organized and has the most people in my area which allowed me to be more picky with who I decide to be in my band. Although I haven’t actually recruited anything yet, I’ve already requested to connect with a few people which is more than what I can say for some of the other apps and websites I used for this purpose. I’ll update this review if I do end up recruiting someone off this app. I’ve only been on the app for a day haha.
EDIT: Through this app, I’ve found myself a very talented drummer and guitarist! All I need is a vocalist and I have myself a full band! Thank the lord for this app! Just when I felt I wasn’t getting anywhere with my band start up!

I like this app but need to fix the crashing
Have 2 good connections with a vocalist and instrumentalist but after the update the app crashes is unable to load. Probably has a bug that needs fixing. Until that gets taken care of I’ll just patiently hold off on sharing any files with my connections. Thanks God bless 🙏❤️

Great but some problems
I was able to find a lot of people in my area, still haven’t scrolled through everyone either, but I just wish you could go into more details on the filter. I’m in a band looking for some members but in our age range, that could be too much but it would just make looking easier for the younger bands like us. The search in genre too is difficult because most members don’t state the genre they are looking for, so maybe it could be a requirement in the account? I’m also having trouble editing my account. Whenever I finish editing there isn’t a done button, just the button on the top left to go back to viewing the profile which erases my edits. This is a really great idea and I love it, just some things I’d wish would change

Great but...
Like others have said, the messages can disappear, never have really been sent and you may not know it until later. Usually it seemed to be the longer ones.
I have managed okay with that issue, but now all my recent messages vanished, but some old ones stayed. I see a new contact as Fuzz Team which I contacted several days ago and no one has replied, so I'm putting it here.
Still want to say I appreciate this free app, but those are the current problems.

great idea, poor execution
Profiles aren’t automatically sorted by distance when you tap “near me”, and you can’t sort by distance or any other parameters. For example, I live in NYC and when I tap “near me”, I still see some profiles in CT and PA before I see NYC ones.
You should be able to select multiple roles (e.g. guitarist, singer) and multiple things you’re seeking (e.g. jamming, collaboration). Many people play multiple instruments or are looking for more than one thing.
You should be able to write a longer bio. Mine caps me off at like 25 characters even though it says I have 50.
Hendrix is a similar website that’s better designed and seems to have more users; I recommend using that.

I think you should be able to choose more than one “interest” like, I wanna do both “play locally” and “recording” but I can’t and I feel like for how short our bios have to be we can’t express much else

Lots of potential
I love the idea of this app, and there are some cool musicians on here. It has so much potential to be a great app if they could just fix some bugs and polish it up a bit. It’s just not super user-friendly yet, but I’ll keep using it in hopes that more musicians will join in my area and that they’ll improve it eventually.

No options, low filters, crash fest
As a musician wanting to connect with other musicians this app is not useful.
Typing more than one item in the search box results in app crash.
Would need vast improvements in ability to say who I am and what my skills are as well as mature set of filters for what I am looking for as a baseline to be useful - but has almost nothing.

What is this app for?
I’m trying to find musicians in my area. I don’t have time to search through every musician in the northern hemisphere. Maybe you could add a few filters? And if you actually have a way to find musicians in my area, or even in my State, where is it hidden?
