• Remember swiping, from before? Now not only can you swipe between pages, but theres a whole new tab bar. And it has icons you can click on that take you directly to pages without you having to use all the effort of dragging your finger across the screen. This really is the future
• Remember notifications, from before? They were cool, but Gary thought that actually being able to see them would be kinda cool too. So now not only can you get notifications, but your app icon will display the total amount of notifications, and remember the tab bar, from before? Well that will also display the number of chat and feed notifications directly above those cute little icons. There's also a new option in settings to reset the notification count! Very nice.
• The Gary Media Editor has been **super enhanced** and there's loads of new things and changes. First off, the colour picker from before has been replaced with a scrolling bar at the bottom of the screen that will allow you to select from a number of colours. And get this, you can select white and black now! And even more get this, selecting a colour no longer draws behind the colour picker!
• Next up on the Gary Media Editor, you can now add text to images and videos (and change the colour), type whatever your heart desires, and then resize it, move it around, make it do a little dance.
• Finally for the Gary Media Editor, stickers! You can press the moustache icon to scroll through all the available stickers, or use the search bar. Then plop them right on your image or video, move them around, rotate them, resize them, make them do several little dances.
• $$$ Gary noticed some of you have bad WiFi, so added some image caching to the app, now the app will cache any images that are loaded from the Gary API, including stickers, profile pictures, feed posts and chat attachments. This means they should all load in super duper instantly (after the first time)
• Gary noticed some of you were crashing a fair bit, a lot of crashes were fixed here, but just in case, all crashes are now anonymously reported without any user data attached
• A huge load of fixes were implemented, most notably, the app now no longer crashes when changing your profile picture! On an unrelated note, the process to change your profile picture has changed, and you can now use the Gary Camera

• You can now hold down on an image in Chat and select 'View in full screen' to, guess what, view it in full screen

• A few colours changed, so you know how massive this update is
• Greater control! The settings page was updated to allow you control over your username, email and full name, as well as your profile picture, and options to reset your password. Also, fancy toggles for notifications!

• The app now utilises default iOS controls and displays
• The links to the website have been fixed :)

- SLOW SUCKS, so we made the app faster.
- We redid our backend, replaced our spines and now the app performs a lot better, especially server side
- This means Gary Portal uses less data, long live your data
- This also means Gary Portal uses less battery, long live your battery
- We took away some purple from the iOS app, it was too purple. Now it is a bit purple, you're welcome
- We removed the ancient side menu, nav bars and tab bars. This is the Future
- Links in chat now work and are embedded like snug little babies
