i pressed for the free trial so normally like all free trials they ask you to put your card info on so i put my apple pay thing and a few minutes later after doing that i get a notification saying that I just spent $36 at gauthmath!!!! WHAT!!?!??! so i'm talking to customers support of cash app and they're telling me i have to go through all of this waiting around for a refund and the app said that this is a normally occurrence when i went to the help section!! i would not recommend trying the trial out but the free tickets are actually really nice and the app is good overall except for this!! but i still haven't received my money and the customer support for this app is bad there is no one to talk to in situations like this you have to go through your bank and it will take a lot of time to get back.

Doesn’t even scan simple problems
THIS APP WRITES FAKE REVIEWS DONT TRUST IT! They have really copy pasted responses to critical reviews and even straight up said

I saw it from a paid promotion on a YouTubers channel instantly new they were buying out false claims. I installed just to give it a second chance on some of my algebra homework I went to the he simplest problem that was a solve for x problem, said “oops we can’t solve that problem” and tried to get me to start a free trial to ask a tutor, like seriously man? They made the YouTuber say that it “can scan advanced word problems and solve them” no it can’t didn’t let me even do any word problems as a matter of fact, it tries to make me enter information for a free trial without even clicking anything it can’t even do simple algebra it basically just works like a camera calculator only can do the simple multiplication division subtraction addition, your basic stuff I don’t recommend this app and it is just a cash grab for you to buy a tutor. Period.

Great but lacks in a few things I’ve noticed
1) Some math like financial math doesn't get recognized as math? Especially if I’m scanning graphs, it says that it’s not math subject and returns my ticket
2) For the first time today, I scan and give a ticket to a tutor to help explain to me, I watch two ads to speed up the process but it’s literally over an hour and I have no responses from my tutor… they just said please wait this problem is a bit harder than expected and it’s just 10th grade algebra with finance. You guys to limit time for tutors to submit responses by at least 30 minutes and if the time is over return our ticket… what if we paid money for the tickets and we wasted it because it won’t come back?
Thank is all, I still love and will be keeping the app and changing my review from time to time, it has potential but it’s just a bit frustrating at times.

Amazing get it rn omggg
This app has saved my math grades so much. If you are wondering yes you need to watch ads but they have a thing called answer cards and you can watch the ads ahead and whenever you struggle in your math you do not need to watch the ads. When I have extra time or during the weekends I watch the ads ahead and get up to like 50 answer cards for the week n case I struggle. Such a great app, great service and free. There is a plan that you can pay but I don’t think it’s necessary because without the plan the app is great. Also they have faith bot which you do not need to watch ads in and they give you the answer in like 1 second and it’s also free. If you haven’t gotten it what are you waiting for get it nowwwww!

This app is amazing
All you have to do to get the answer you need is take a photo, it’s that easy. The app is free other then in game purchases but you don’t need to purchase anything to get the answers. If the “Gauthbot” doesn’t get the answer then their are tutors who show the steps. I will say the Guathbot sometimes doesn’t work and you need to take a second photo. The tutors aren’t always correct so if you get one on here I would recommend checking the answer or taking a clearer photo. All in all this is a great app, the Guathbot never gets any answers I show wrong so this app is just amazing, I would definitely get it if you do a lot of math and don’t have the tome to study or work out all of the math problems one by one.

Not for me
After a long day being stuck in a building, I just want to get my work I’ve been assigned done with. This app intrigued me as it’s a math-solving-app. So, of course I downloaded it. It was really nice at first and it helped me with my math. However, over the months, it kind of became...“greedy”. Now, I completely understand this app needs to make a profit in someway, but either make the free version more utilizable and more available or make the subscriptions cheaper. The majority of users who use this app are teenagers to young adults, so they can’t really buy or afford these prices. Overall, I would be lying if I said the app was great, its really mediocre, but, it was once nice, I just wish it was always like that all the time. (I’m sure my opinion is a “small fish in a big pond”, but I’m just suggesting my opinion, I don’t expect the app to actually change.)

Sick and Tired
I don’t what’s worse: me not getting this math done on a Sunday or this app making me not get this math done on a Sunday. I could’ve been settled down in a luxurious loft in Beverly Hills, own 6 G wagons, 5 mercedes, with a bag set on a 100% real genuine leather couch if such fickle, unreliable, erratic app didn’t get in the way of this. I loyally wait for Adam for 10 minutes to give me just what I need, but all I was given was nothing but lies and wrong answers. So did Grace, Carlos, and Trent. I just wanted to spend the rest of my Sunday in preparation for my mental state but this is not going to happen all because of this utter tomfoolery I’m desperately trying to withdraw from. My first step is deleting and taking my break time to right this review. If you have a bright future and much more to come don’t even think about installing this app, no matter how much you second guess yourself. At least you’ll be somewhat close to the genuine answer, unlike Cole.

Not what it use to be
Use to be helpful and provided alot of it. Now its just a microtransaction/ad pump. Cannot get anything solved anymore without paying for tickets or watching ads, cannot see answers anymore unless you pay for answer cards or watch more ads. And you only get so many of these tickets/cards per month which hardly makes the pay even worth it. It use to give you answers and tutor help, while you could watch ads to speed up delivery time of the answer. Almost the same as Chegg now except more ads, and the answers are not guarenteed to even be remotely right. I cannot tell you how many times i have submitted a qestion just to get a completed irrelevant answer back from the “tutors”, which just recycle old answers for similar questions and dont actually solve anything unless its a new question. Sad to see something go from great to mediocre at best. Stick to Photomath or Mathway.
