This Georgia Council of the Blind app is designed to provide push notifications to users about upcoming events and news events, contact information and to make a phone call directly to GCB from this app. The app also includes a comprehensive and accessible blindness resources list. The app has many accessibility features that read the content, announces helpful hints for the user to navigate the app, and support for your devices’ light/dark mode.

This version has a new feature within the Chapters screen where a user can find a chapter or affliate near their location using GPS functionality. YOu can use a current location or enter a location whick will generate a list of chapters ordered by mileage. The closest chapter will be first in the list. Tap the item in the list to obtain contact infotmation about the chapter.
