“Gear Enigmas” is a hand-drawn adventure puzzle game that tells the story of a young mechanician named Carl found the secret of his grandfather in the house and uses the puzzle to restore the truth of what happened several years ago, at the same time, protecting his family from evil enemies. In this game, players will at the first-person perspective. Amazing Game!!
I am wildly amazed how unique and attention grabbing this point and click game is! I first downloaded this game just to play the free first chapter but after playing it for a while I was not expecting to completely fall in love with it! I loved the first chapter so much that I was willing to pay for the rest of the story (something I usually don't do when it comes to point and click games) I don't regret my payment at all! I loved the music and the wonderful characters. The story line is the right balance between light hearted and Intriguing plus the puzzles are quite fun/challenging. I am pretty disappointed the ending has not come out yet but Im looking forward to how the game continues :). Overall, Good work on the developers and I hope to see more updates soon

Really good game with nice story. Challenges aren’t too obscure. I can fully recommend playing. It’s a good hour to hour and a half gameplay give or take.
For Dev: My small complains are hints are used up sometimes by showing you are in the wrong room so you can spend several “lightbulbs” to get next helpful clue. The English translation is a little off which can sometimes give confusing emotions to characters. Lastly, cut seen between rooms that labels the next room you are opening takes a little long to load. These are all minor “constructive criticisms” in what is really a well thought out gameplay experience.

CANT WAIT FOR THE NEXT CHAPTER
I love love love this game the storyline is amazing and I love how the puzzles are at just the right difficulty. I love games like this and I’ve been looking for games like rusty lake and this is definitely coming up right behind it on my list. I hope the next chapter comes soon because this story has me hooked!

Someday I will learn..
..to read the reviews. I like to support game developers, but not when it’s clearly a waste of money. I’m so disappointed in this game. I bought the extended version for 9 bucks and the hints are only good for sending you out of the room, no specifics on what to do next or where to be. I’ve been chasing my tail for an hour now, ready to look up a walkthrough online. I also agree about the room labels as cutscenes, not needed and feel like time-fillers to make the game last longer. And I’ve wasted so many hints on that fishing game, don’t know what that’s about. Cute story, tho, and I like the artwork.
Update: the sphindro sapling is directly behind the hint bulb, so I lost 8 hints trying to click on the plant. 🤬

Nice point and click puzzle adventure
I enjoyed the first chapter. I like point and click games with puzzles , most are not difficult but it takes some work or thinking and they give a few free hints at beginning and you can watch a video for more if needed which is a great feature. Which for a free version you get over an hour of game time. I do wish there was more information about the rest of the game….. how many chapters? What percentage of game is left if you purchase?

Way too expensive
I played the free part and enjoyed it. The graphics are just like in the Cotton games, which I love. The English is bad and the hint system is terrible. I would have purchased it and played the whole game if it weren’t for the ridiculous price. If I’m paying $7 for a game, I expect to get unlimited hints included. But no, they except you to pay $7 for the game AND buy hints. $2 per 10 hints, but you can easily use up 5 hints just getting directed to a specific room and it takes 3 hints to solve a puzzle. That’s crazy and I will not support such greed.

Great game, one big issue
I am a big fan of games like this though I do have one pretty major issue, specifically with the use of a slur at one of the points of the game, specifically the r-slur. I understand the makers of this game aren’t native English speakers so this is just a piece advice about that word being very bad, you could replace it with something like “stupid” or “dumb”, I do hope this helps as this game has a lot of promise and the devs seem very good at what they do.

Good, English is a bit stilted
Overall this game is pretty cute, but it is pretty clear that English is not the first language of the developers and whoever did the translating probably isn’t a native English speaker, either. Some of the phrasing is awkward and occasionally doesn’t make sense right away, so you have to kind of guess what they probably meant. To the devs: great game, the English translations just need a bit more work.

Charming and heart warming
Puzzles in the first half were “just right” difficulty….had to think, but didn’t need a walkthrough. The second part was a bit more convoluted, but I still found myself rooting for the protagonist and his family. Nice ending. Totally worth $6.99 to me…

Charming Game
Everything about this game is super charming from the hand drawings to the not-quite-right/sometimes confusing English translations. The puzzles aren’t too hard but it would have been nice to have clues instead of just solving the puzzle when you wanted a hint. Overall - I look forward to the next chapter.
