Geology Timescales Tutor is an app designed to help you to memorize the relations and proper categories between Ages and Epochs, Epochs and Periods, Periods and Eras, Eras and Eons, Eons and SuperEons. It helps also to memorize at what time a certain Age, Period and Era start in terms of thousands of years, millions of years and billions of years ago.

Several names for Ages and Epochs were approved officially by the International Commission on Stratigraphy. Also, the names of the Eras were expanded to include unofficial names. These changes are reflected in the update to this app. Other internal improvements. Look soon for my new stratigraphy quiz app which lets you study & memorize the sequence of the stratigraphy!
