German, Hack 1.22 + Redeem Codes

If the sole purpose of the app was to create a simple lexicon interface, they hit the nail on the head. I wish they had made the synonyms linked and a more sleek design.

It great to be able to review what words you have looked up. It really helps to drill them into your memory.

The boy thing I’d add is the Latin derivatives and a pronunciation option

The dictionary is ok. However, if you try to remove ads, you will be charged for every device which has the application AND THE ADS WILL REMAIN!!!!!, as well as an offer to remove ads again. It is really a shame that these things happen, will take it up with App Store.

Used to be a great dictionary... now with the latest update, the ads annoy really oft. Other reviews say they would stay even with the purchased version. Disappointed really.

I appreciate that this app is usable with early operating systems (less than iOS 6) because I have an old iPad.

This dictionary is very comprehensive and easier than leafing through a print dictionary. I do wish it was more detailed and consistent about providing gender, plurals and other tenses. It would also be great if sample sentences were provided.

Unfortunately the speech feature does not work--or I don't know how to get it to work!

I am very impressed in the content of this dictionary. I have multiple German dictionaries but I find this one much farther advanced than any of the others. I use it primarily to translate German words into English. It is just so much better than any other dict. I love all the synonyms that are include in the definition. It is like wise easy to cut and paste and send definitions to others.

I very seldom have to look elsewhere for a word definition. I also like the pronunciation that is included if you are in a hot spot or if you are on Wi Fi. You can't go wrong with this one if you are translating from German into English!

I enjoyed this app until the last upgrade. Now, even though I have the paid version, there is no longer any speech component — it doesn't pronounce the words in either language. I went to the developer's website, but if I try to click on "support," all I get is an error message. So now it doesn't do what I bought it for and there is no support from the developer.

I'm still giving it 3 stars because I am hoping this issue will be fixed, and when it works, it's good. It's still a handy dictionary, but it's annoying not to get the features I got it for.

Excellent for number of included terms; some in fact could be excluded, only because I was not looking for quite so comprehensive a lexicon. It includes many abbreviations and such, and that does somewhat slow my searching.

Option to have the word spoken aloud is excellent. It would be better still if I could access the German pronunciation of a word I searched in English. Currently I have to then re-enter the German word I just searched for in English to get the pronunciation in German (if I'm not sure of it).

Also I wish it included the gender info (der, die, das) for nouns - this is my biggest frustration.

But I like this app and use it every day for vocab building.

Very good and extensive dictionary. It is sort of awkward to switch from looking up a word from English to German then switching from German to English. It would be nice if you could just type the word and it would recognize which language. Otherwise, this is a great dictionary content-wise! You can also bookmark words very easily, which I find incredibly helpful.
