glamorous1324,
Exactly what I needed
This app is so perfectly designed for tracking everything related to GD. I especially appreciate the testing reminders as I would often forget to start a separate timer on my phone when I started my meal and then would forget until over an hour or so later. Being able see when my last meal was helps me gauge when I should probably grab a snack. GD is so overwhelming at first and having a great tool like this available helps so much.
JDurb923,
Some bugs but overall good, basic app
Interface is simple and I like the report export feature. However, the time limit around when you can input +1 and +2 hour readings is too narrow—if you forget to input a reading, it’s very difficult to get the app to accept it and still have it tied to the relevant meal. In settings, you can change the accepted time ranges for inputs, so I made them very broad and now I can’t input any +1 or +2 hour data; it tells me everything is out of range, even though it’s inside the range I set. Not sure how to fix other than delete and reinstall the app, which of course means data loss. If that were fixed, it would be 5 stars.
NinahBean,
Needs post meal blood glucose editing options
Very helpful and intuitive, but there is a glaring issue that needs attention. If you make a mistake in not categorizing a blood glucose reading as a post meal (+1 hr) reading, you cannot fix this mistake later and link it to the meal you intended- especially if you have eaten a meal since (say you meant to add a glucose reading to a lunch but didn’t properly categorize it as a post meal reading, you cannot add this reading to the meal if you notice this mistake later- especially if you had dinner prior to noticing the earlier mistake. You get an error message saying the reading is out of range or there is no option to add it directly to the meal entry).
Mia9987,
This app is great (mostly)
This has been a very convenient way for me to track my blood sugars. My two main annoyances are:
1) sometimes I forget to start the timer right when I begin eating, and there’s no option to “begin” your meal a few minutes earlier than the current time. I really wish I could roll back the clock to make the countdown more accurate
2) If you start a meal or snack by accident, there is no way to delete it. I’ll usually just make a note that it was a mistake but it would really be nice to just be able to get rid of it
Yes I poop,

Thank you to whoever made this application. I’m a software developer and ex-nurse and when I scored a 190 on my glucose screening test, I ran straight to the store to get a glucometer and track my sugars. At first, I used my note pad on my phone, but I started thinking how I need a fool tool to use instead. I imagined everything it would need to be useful.

When I found this application, I was shocked! “This must have been created by a software developer who was diagnosed with GD — it’s so perfect and intuitive” is what my initial thoughts were.

Honestly, I’m constantly impressed by the simplicity and functionality of this app. Zero complaints. It has made my life easier.

Thank you!
npienta,
Super helpful
This app is amazing. Super user friendly, I love that it reminds me when to check after meals or I would forget. The only downside is that the fasting sugar is different from what my doctor told me to watch for so I have to remind them when I’m at my OB office for checks that the red isn’t really high according to my office regulations. Otherwise love this app!!
Eva2H,
Thank you for this app
I don’t think I’ve ever reviewed an app before, but I felt compelled for this one. It’s so clean and intuitive, a complete blessing in what has otherwise been a tough time. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Cheer1012008,
Good enough
I really like that I can set timers for 1hr or 2hr after meals, and that you can put in notes about the different meals and readings! If I have a bad reading I like to make note of what I ate so I know to limit/stay away from that food in the future! My only issue is it won’t let me put in a fasting blood sugar. No matter what I put as my “time” it says I’m out of range. It really should just be a set “after __ hours”.
Dr JecaE,
Love it but…
Love everything about the app except it doesn’t let you add sugar level passed the time window… sometimes I check it on time, but forget to add it within the time frame…
LanaN58,
Love this!
This app is wonderful! I would love to see it integrated with Apple Watch as well to start a meal or track a reading quickly and discretely on the go!
