Mixed Feelings
I ordered one which works great. I liked it so much I ordered another one in a different style so I could change the bracelet depending on the occasion. Unfortunately I couldn’t get the second one to work so they sent a replacement. That one didn’t work either so I returned it for a refund. The refund was promptly processed which is great. If you have a problem u have to fill out a form and you get a stock email reply. There really isn’t a live customer service call center. I did finally come across a telephone # which I called and left a message but no call back. I am happy with the first one I got which works great.

Security Flare
I recently bought 2 flare bracelets. It’s easy to set up the bracelet with the app. The app walks you through each step. Once you’ve completed the set up process the app wants to perform a test run. It will notify your crew whomever you designated to receive notifications in the event of an emergency. You have the opportunity to decide what the notification will be. Example: I’m caught in a tough spot. I believe you only have a one line message to send your crew. You can also notify 911. This is a helpful and beneficial feature. What I thoroughly enjoy about the bracelet is it’s comfortable and that it doesn’t look like it would for security. From what I understand there’s different styles of bracelets. I highly recommend this bracelet and the app. for any young or elderly person. C
Modge Podge,
Pretty good
Would be really nice to have the option to import my own voice memo to use for the fake call, that way I could make it much more realistic for myself
Misssyyoyo,
Got a replacement and still won’t work
When I first ordered the setup was super easy and it worked every time I did the fake phone call, but after a month it took a few tries to get the fake phone call. Then it eventually stopped working completely. After 2 weeks of going back and forth with customer service through email I got a replacement and it connected to the app but won’t send out the texts to my “crew” or send me a phone call. I’ve uninstalled the app 3 times and tested out all their phone numbers but still nothing.
Alyssa Revel,
I don’t go out without it
I love how customizable Flare is. From choosing what number Flare calls me from to choosing what recording is played back during the phone call. Onboarding was very easy, it walked me through all the features. It’s awesome that if you do choose to turn on 911 the dispatcher will call you and it gives you a chance to give them more information.

Customer Torture !
I have owned this product for at least 4 months. It’s Defective and neither I or one of the Flare employees was able to get it working. I was told to wait while the engineers looked to see if it was part of a Defective Batch.. I was told that it had been reset, but you guessed it.. Nothing !!
The employee who contacted me, No Longer Responds to email or voicemail and the General number for the company is constantly Busy !! I’m Totally Beside Myself..
I Don’t Know What Else to Do !!
So here I sit with a product that Still Does Not Work and Never Has .. I have asked for a replacement but again.. Nothing..
Customer Torture ..

Best safety app ever!
I love how easy this whole system is. The app and bracelet work perfectly together and I don’t even have to think about it. As a college student this is exactly the thing I was looking for. No one wants to carry mace around or always have to have an app open. Love that I can just push the button on my bracelet and everything else just works.

Worked for a month then abruptly stopped
I registered it and tested it out to make sure it worked. Everything was fine. Then, it simply stopped working. No texts, no calls, does not show up on gps. Supposedly the device’s battery is good for a year, so shouldn’t be that after so little time. Just an expensive clunk now.

App is also super annoying. Unless you agree to do all the things THEY want you to do, it will forever shows “steps remaining in setup on your home page.” You can click on them, but they won’t go away. Example, I do not want to share Flare…. It will not exit my startup screen of the app unless I chose to share. That is ridiculous.

App also has unnecessary clicks. Example- why do I need to click to see what call settings I arranged? You could just spell it out in that line.

Overall, app and bracelet get no love.

Trash
Absolute garbage. Literally just got the bracelet in the mail today and it doesn’t work. It looks like it’s already been used because it’s scratched up too. Even though it’s broken straight out of the package, you don’t get your shipping refunded AND you have to pay to have it shipped back. Great first impression. What a scam.
Assviolat0r,
App is trash, customer service is worse
Don’t even bother with Flare. The jewelry itself looks cheap, the app never synced with the device, and customer service gives you the runaround instead of helping solve any problems.
